Yes. He should’ve never been hired or at least surround him with experienced coaches. I’m not sure if I prefer a experienced coach like Vrabel or one of these young OC’s, what worries me about one of the young OC’s is they have no experience as a head coach.

If Mayo is fired every candidate being interviewed should ask the Krafts what they are planning to do with all that Cap money available.

Who are the 6 assholes trolling?
I am one of the 6 (now 8) assholes. Most of the press conference issues have been blown out of proportion and I don't buy into the now predominant notion that he constantly shirks responsibility/accountability for team failures. If it is a disaster behind the scenes (like it clearly was with Urban Meyer for example), then I'm on board with making a change. Otherwise, he deserves at least one full off season to turn things around. I'm rooting for him, because I also happen to like the guy.

Depends on if Payment has come in.

A rare poll where RLKAG isn't the correct choice.
At the moment RLKAG is running well ahead of retaining Mayo, by a bit more than 2:1, and firing Mayo is overwhelmingly outpolling both of the other choices combined by more than three to one.

Sentiment is clear.

Anyone who voted “No” is either a fervent Jets fan, or a closet Jets fan.
There are other reasons. You failed to mention they are simply morons!

Oh ****...wait I see what you did there!

The 2 posters that voted "No" need to reveal themselves.

Update: The 3 posters that voted "No" need to reveal themselves immediately!
I voted no as I liked Mayo and a former player. I also think 1 year is too hasty. However, I would understand if he is let go as he has been disappointing.

Whatever we do, the front office must be fired. That OL and WRs are unforgivable.

JMKAR

Jerod Mayo killed a rebuild. If he stays beyond this year, maybe two.

I'm not even sure the AZ game was the worst game of the season, but damn, did it unite the fanbase in a way not seen since 2016...

I actually laughed out loud with this thread.

This Arizona game really pissed me off. Nothing is evolving, and most of it is just straight up getting worse

One of thing we could relly on in BBs golden years is that whenever we started sucking, we go back to fundemantals. That is trench work, being physical, focus on the basics of football and get something running.

We have COMPLETELY lost that. Player suck, and they don't care. Units suck and they don't change anything. then there is everything else.

So am I changing my opinion and join the masses asking for Mayo's head?

Nop. I said this October 20th. And I'll keep it.
  • The zeitgeist is immediate results. if they don't come, pressure builds from everywhere, more so in sports, where scrutiny comes from everywhere

That being said, Im with you man.

This is year 0. Does not count. Seeing how things are going, my thinking is that the whole front office will have the shortest of leashes to show improvement, but if ANY move comes before at least the end of the year, then I will be officially worrried.

"A bad plan is better than no plan at all"

We keep Mayo, and Wolf for next year. If we start lousy, we fire them. I understand the cons, but also think, with level-headed thinking it's not worse than firing them at end of this season/"now".

This is all for nothing, Mayo isn’t going anywhere like it or not.
And neither will Drake Maye as long as Mayo is HC. We'll see if the Krafts are really that Stupid. The Fans can clearly see that Mayo is a joke it's embarrassing now.
