I believe Drake will take a team friendly deal to get other good players especially oline. So my guess is 10 years 550 million, 250 million gtd , with trade reset clause in year 5 depending upon how much the cap has increased . Need to keep a reset year in every 5 years .

And a 2.5M fine for every fumble.

The media contracts are going to be up for renegotiation soon, apparently, so I wouldn't be surprised if the big names hold off on signing deals until that happens.

I know what you are saying, but for context we were the biggest spenders in 2025 free agency, with roughly $288M committed across about 12 contracts during the window.

I can see us doing some fine tuning given some of the 12 may not be earning their contracts, but how much more can you expect us to spend the next two years?

Drake was going to be the highest paid player in the league, one way or another.

Of course you test the waters by asking for a team-friendly deal in exchange for signing more/better players, but if his side bauks you drop that line really fast.
