I'd expect you to know more about team A than team B, so we'll just let it go. Not surprised you left out the offensive stats though. As for injuries, our defensive line and backers when through quite bit and lets not forget that your favorite whipping boy sat out 4 games as well.

BTW, most of our Pro Bowlers came from the offensive side... 1st year starter QB, RB and TE....

Your QB made the Pro Bowl only because our QB decided to sit it out.

Where are the sports photographers when you need one? Finding a good image of Hobbs dancing on the Chargers' logo/grave/failed season is damned near impossible!

Oooookay. Don't let the facts get you down. Brady had a bad start to the season. ...probably because he had no go-to receivers and was plssed.

I'm done. See you all in September. :rocker:

(until the GAME last year, NE/Brady have been one of my favorite stories from the NFL. I rooted for every one of NE's rings. Unfortunately it seems as though this board is stuffed with young pups that don't know what it was like before Brady. Have your fun while it lasts. As one genius here said, there are changing seasons. I'd hate to see you all become what you see on the Raiders boards.)

It's hard to root for any team once you get to know its fans.

I can't tell you how badly I wanted to root for Cowher to get his first ring, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it because I hate Steelers fans so much.

Including that woman LT? Aww, now that hurt.

What's really sad is that you let a "woman" rush for 134 and 123 the last two times you faced him.
ya we did and still won the game lol lol lolol.all those problowers and home field and your team still lost lol lol.the only reason your here is your still in pain and devastated by that crushing defeat.lol

You're right. I am in pain. That loss was devastating. No right minded fan could feel any other way. I'd probably feel better about it if I felt like NE was the superior team that day.

But I'm dealing with it. There's always this year...

Think of how it felt to loose a lead to the Colts and lose the way we did in Denver prior to that.

Suggest you watch the game again.... If you can bear it that is. :rocker:

It was actually a very evenly fought battle.

This proves that you are a complete moron! Three QB's were selected for the 2006 Pro Bowl for the AFC; Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, and Carson Palmer! Tom Brady opted out, which led the way for Philip "Cry Me A" Rivers. Must have been a sympathy pick. YOU KNOW, the way you..er..I mean, the fat kid will get picked first once in a while because his buddies feel bad for him.

Those are the facts! You should try reading 'em sometime, because they'll also tell you the Sparklers are big time chokers!

I've watched it 3 times. The more I watch it the less even it looks.

The one that got me was the guy bragging about how the Chargers dominated us in the playoff game.

Perhaps you were referring to moi? We did dominate you. NE was never ever in control of the game. Watch a replay or two. I have. Show me a time when NE was in control PRIOR to Brown stripping McCree with 6 minutes left. That's my point. Before that NE never got close to owning us at any point in the game. Don't suggest you did.

No, it's more like NE was the beneficiary of divine provenance.

Give it a friggin rest, will ya? You lost. Get over it, you friggin baby.

Yeah, you should have won. If numbnuts had batted down the ball instead of catching it, like I was taught in high school forty years ago, game over, you win, and you would have clobbered the Colts and Bears.

But you didn't win. And instead of memories of watching the Chargers hoist a Lombardi, you have a memory of tomlinson losing his cool, and Rivers crying like a little girl.

You should have won, but you didn't. So what?

We should have beaten the Colts, but we didn't. Too bad, so sad, start again next year. But look toward the superbowl, not a rematch with the Colts. Beat the Colts and lose the superbowl would be a bad season, losing to the Colts and winning the superbowl a good one. It's an important game, but it is just one stepping stone on the path to the real goal.

We have faith in our team, so that we don't need to migrate en masse to a Colts forum and tell them we dominated them, or some other bs.

Just shut up until after the next game, and if you win you can talk all you want.

Winning (or losing) by a few measly points is not dominating. Dominating is 56-3 or something like that.

If you punt a lot, or the other team has more than one or two scores, you have not dominated anything.

I will be SOOOOO glad when week 2 is over. Either you will lose, in which case you all will be gone, or you will be able to say, "We won," and we'll say, "Yeah, you did," and then you can go away.

Either way, you'll be gone. Thank goodness.

You started well and I understood your sentiments. However, you finished piss poorly and it's highly unlikely I'll be going away failing an act.

Regardless of what happens in week two I want you to personally count on me being around. Go ahead and do that. :bricks:
