Seems to me you're the one taking them self too seriously. Sounds like you're the one with the 40" waistline seeing as though you're looking for a 110" HDTV and snacks. While I'm certain I'd dust you off in the 40, there's really no point in getting into it.

BTW, I WILL be seeing NE. I'll be at the game in September. Like I said, see ya soon.

Nah, I still manage to get to the gym every day despite the HDTV. And I'm fairly certain I would toast you in the 40, even at 35 years old.

We intend to win something. Make sure you're out of our way when we hit the gas. Wouldn't wanna inadvertently run you over.

Oh, as long as you intend to win something.

I stand corrected.

You're joking, right? an internet blog expressing an opinion equals Brady putting pressure on BB? That's just weak.
So, you would be satisfied if I posted 15 articles that said the same thing? It is common knowledge that Brady was upset with management about Branch. He pouted all summer long and started the season flat-footed. This year management compensates by picking up every free agent receiver available.

...just a coincidence, I'm sure.

They also had a ton of money this offseason, and receivers were available.

More coincidences!

I'm sure it had much more to do with Brady "pouting", and nothing to do with putting the best football team on the field.

You're just grasping at straws.

I get to the gym and MTBR almost every day also. My waist is at 33-34. Heheh, I still think I'd dust you off in the 40 but this is ridiculous. Tell ya what? if I see you in September it's on. :rocker:

If anyone on this board is dusting someone in the 40 it's me

So you're saying Thomas is better than Merriman? You have ZERO facts to support that. Gotta skip that argument for now. If you start referencing stats and\or game situations I may entertain your argument. For now I'll just say I disagree.

W/regard to Wilfork? Again, I see no evidence of that. When have you stopped us with LT in the backfield? All we have to go on is recent events. It appears clear to me that Wilfork isn't a difference maker in that regard. Now, w/regard to Jamal? When was the last time you had a 100 yard rusher against us?

Inquiring minds want to know?

Okay guy, here's a couple of statistics for you, because even keeping in mind your incredible, pro bowl packed media darling 2006 defense, let's look at the numbers shall we?

Team A: #6 Defense in the league
Team B: #10

Team A: 237 Points Allowed
Team B: 303

Team A: 1507 Rushing Yards Allowed (95 per game)
Team B: 1613 (101 per game)

Let's make this easy , since you Chargers fans seem to have trouble with the whole 'reality' thing: Team A restocked its defense, adding key players through the draft and free agency and getting others back after season ending injuries, while playing in a division last year that had another playoff team and a spotty linebacking corps, not to mention while having the biggest bullseye in the league on its back. Team B did...well really, nothing. Wanna guess who teams A and B are?

Wilfork is a huge part of those stats. He clogs the middle and let an average linebacking corps make plays

You guys need to grow up. You won 2 more games than us and didn't have to deal with ANY of the injury problems we did, not to mention the fact that you had the league's MVP at running back and we had a practice squad at WR. The Chargers weren't that much better than the Patriots last year. Bottom line. You lost in the playoffs because you were outcoached and, at key points in the game, outplayed by superiorly prepared players.

Good luck in September! You will need it.

I guess this thread has ended. None of the intelligent Patsfans posters are responding.

I think you have it backwards. Dumba$$ Bolts fans won't keep their ignorant mouths shut. The Pats beat you before and the Pats will beat you again. Go back to sleep.

It still doesn't change the fact Chargers fans that you lost to the Patriots in your own house with the NFLs MVP and all those prowbowlers.

I'd expect you to know more about team A than team B, so we'll just let it go. Not surprised you left out the offensive stats though. As for injuries, our defensive line and backers when through quite bit and lets not forget that your favorite whipping boy sat out 4 games as well.

BTW, most of our Pro Bowlers came from the offensive side... 1st year starter QB, RB and TE....

I'm just picking the straws that are offered.

Fact:
Brady pouted about Branch
Brady restructured for Moss
Brady got a bunch of FA receivers

But yeah, you're probably right, BB doesn't care what he thinks.

Once again.

Of course he cares what Brady thinks. He cares what the 53rd guy thinks, if it helps the team.

Thanks for proving my point. Don't "let it go," prove me wrong.

I said that Wilfork was about equal to Williams, for his role and value to his team. You guys are so delusional that you act like that's a ridiculous assertion not worth addressing. Yet, the Patriots defensively were better in every statistical category than the Chargers, even with the loss of our two best run stoppers in the secondary/LB corps (Seau and Harrison). Wilfork had a lot to do with those stats.

The Chargers were not much better than the Patriots last year. And this year they're even, at worst.

Nobody is afraid of SD here. Seriously. Get to the back of the bus with the rest of the wannabes.

ps- Nobody's whining over there in SD? I guess all the crying over the game last winter is finally stopped (including that woman LT)???
Including that woman LT? Aww, now that hurt.

What's really sad is that you let a "woman" rush for 134 and 123 the last two times you faced him.

Well, he can run, but he cries like a b*tch.

It's a damn long offseason.
