It means that, at some point Belichick will be deposed by Flores' counsel and he'll be asked who told him about Daboll being hired as the Giants HC. BB still has a ton of contacts in the Giants organization. BB isn't one of the people named as a defendant.
That would put BB on the hot seat as clearly they'd ask him to name his sources that led him to believe that the other Brian had the job. It'd be interesting to know how much Bill would protect the source or dissemble (ok, lie) about who the source was.

I agree with what I think you wrote earlier, that in the end it'll be like Kaepernick, the civil suit will end with a payout to make it all go away. Maybe NFL will have to agree to some improved version of the Rooney Rule too, time will tell.

any white owners selling their franchises any time soon? no?...uh..the reality here is this is all wind in sails. Expect the Goon to make some ridiculous league "mandate" to offer qualified African American candidates (not minority,but specifically AA) the chance to purchase an NFL franchise. The Goon will name Troy Vincent to head up this absolute sham and will issue a statement declaring ALL minorities and all known 26 genders to have equity in future NFL team purchases.

Of course this lip service will mean absolutely zero but it plays, or should I say, panders to the progressive left, which, as we all have seen the past few years has become a Goody target to display the NFL's "Integrita!". Sit back and enjoy the dog and pony show. Like the lyric song by Queen..." nothing really matters ...to me.."

There is no issue with the hiring of minority coaches in the NFL because:

1. There's no such thing as racism (at least not by whites);
2. If you compare the % of black coaches in the NFL to the % of blacks in China, they're over represented;
3. Blacks don't want to be coaches really. They can't afford it (too many mouths to feed);
4. It doesn't matter how many actual studies have shown the disadvantages that minorities face in the NFL hiring process since I don't believe them;
5. The fact there's only 1 black HC in the NFL is too many since Tomlin is overrated.
6. Flores is a disgruntled, lousy coach. He never made the playoffs like all his white counterparts have (kinda). Why would a rich (white) guy like Ross lie? Flores (black/hispanic) came from a poor background in Brookline, he's got more reasons to lie. The Dolphins are a great, outstanding organization. Goodell (white) is a pilar of the sports world.

Someone DM'd me this on Twitter. No idea where/who it's from but maybe you're over thinking this a little and blacks just can't coach the game the excel at??

I'm seriously bummed that I'll never see TFB play one more year but the schadenfreude I'm enjoying seeing Flores lay waste to the NYJFL hierarchy is soothing my pain. Again, I just hope he has good backup for the "$100K/game lost" allegation and the secret meeting with the QB on the owner's yacht.
If sports "journalists" were worthy of the designation, they'd be all over owners, coaches & NYJFL management during the 2 week SB hiatus 24/7.
The sports journalists won't dig deep on this. It would be career suicide, because they'd never access again. Schefter? Mort? pfft. Maybe a Wickersham type, but I doubt it. It'll take a non-sports type to dig into it and expose all the dirty laundry. Need a true Woodward and Bernstein type who doesn't care about the NFL in order to do it right.

Will Flores drop the suit if he's hired by the Texans? things are about to get awkward.

Elon Musk would be specifically African American

If I was the judge I would say"Mr. Flores, you state in your lawsuit that NFL players consist of 70% black players and 30% white players. How does that prove the NFL is racist when it can be argued this disparity is discriminating against whites? Should the NFL institute racial quotas for players?" Then Flores will be forced to say, "your honor, that is because players are hired according to merit--their athletic ability-- not artificial racial quotas.There just are not enough qualified white players" Then the judge will say, "Then why would it be any different when teams hire coaches and front office personnel? Wouldn't they want to hire for the same merit based reasons so their team will excel?"

Don't understand. What are you saying? That black coaches just can't coach the game they excel at? Why do you think that is?

Flores took Graham, O'Shea and Boyer with him.
Judge took Schulpinski and Bielema.
Patricia didn't take anyone but hired several former Patriots staff including Jeff Davidson and George Godsey
Bill O'Brien took George Godsey with him..

So, I don't see how this supports the idea that it is what soured the "Mangini situation"
I can't recall where I read it, but another poster here said that a coach had to talk to BB about taking assistants out the door first.

McD took Mac's QB coach too...

The whole thing screams of sour grapes because he got fired and not hired. If he is such a man of integrity why didn't he come forward 2 years ago when Ross asked him to tank?
I agree. He continued to collect his huge paychecks and would have no doubt stayed on the job next season if they kept him. He obviously does not understand the sh#it regular wage earners eat on a daily basis at their jobs--no matter the race.

This is why you are not a judge, your reasoning is terrible, full of obvious flaws, and as about surface level as it gets. Like you got it from Tucker Carlson or something

Don't understand. What are you saying? That black coaches just can't coach the game they excel at? Why do you think that is?
Well, that clearly must be the answer because racism doesn't exist.

Why are QB coaches and QB coach candidate part of the class but OL,RB,TE,DL,LB,DB coaches not?

Whitlock pointed out that most coach's get started as grad assistants and work for very low wages initially. HE said that many black players cannot afford to do this because they already have children and financial obligations that prohibit that path. Knows this from first hand knowledge.
That applies to everybody. How many young people early in life make poor choices and hurt their chances at a job like that?

I agree. He continued to collect his huge paychecks and would have no doubt stayed on the job next season if they kept him. He obviously does not understand the sh#it regular wage earners eat on a daily basis at their jobs--no matter the race.
Indeed, he should shut his mouth and be happy with what he got. That is definitely the way to a better America and equal treatment of everybody.

Civil rights leaders everywhere should bow to your wisdom.

If Tom Brady was suspended for being generally aware of ball deflation that didn’t happen, what is the penalty for Flores being generally aware that the owner was trying to lose games on purpose and didn’t report it?
Many layers to this onion.

Well he did just that until he got fired, the he became indignant about it.

I was being facetious bc I can't believe I read that. I'm hoping that wasn't a serious reply. He just told me it was a Fin fan. The stupidity is almost too much.
