People, and leagues, can accept throwing a game or two in the sense of resting your best players, or sitting on the ball in week 17, or things like that. But they can't accept having coaches trying to lose with in game coaching decisions in the long term of a full season.

I gave data on the demographic makeup of the football coaching profession which is clearly the correct gauge of the coaching pool. If you doubt those demographics feel free to post your own data and we can compare and agree on the makeup of the pool.

I don't believe the games are fixed in the traditional sense of the word. Or sure, like every other sport, there is tanking in the NFL but to most people "fixed" implies something else entirely.

Interesting stat, Flores and Gase were back to back HC at MIA. Gase went 23-25, Flores went 24-25, both fired after 3 years.
Gase went on to coach Jets the following year, Flores seemed on track to get another job this season. So what that BB speculated that Giants liked Daboll before all the interviews were done!?! Welcome to the real world, businesses have the prerogative to hire who they like. You have worked in the NFL since you were 23, climbing the ranks and getting a HC job at 38.
