That trade weakened them over the years. Jones contract overtime again weakened them. Jones could barely finish a season healthy. 28-3 was their one and only chance to win with this group and we happened to be in their way.how they gonna fire Dmitroff? dude pulled off greatest heist in history...and cherry on top is it was of BB (sanu for a 2nd)
Yeah but didn’t BB say that Baldwin wasn’t too far of a drop off from Julio had ATL stood pat?BB warned Dimitroff about trading 5 picks to draft Julio Jones. That trade weakened them over the years. The Sanu trade was a win for them but overall, Dimitroff has not done a good job.
Jon Baldwin had the talent, he needed a place that was going to instill discipline and hard work. Did he start with Todd Haley and then later Romeo? He did not get that playing for the Chiefs with Cassel throwing to him. Additionally, that wrist injury completely derailed his growth.Yeah but didn’t BB say that Baldwin wasn’t too far of a drop off from Julio had ATL stood pat?
we broke the falcon franchise ... that entire coaching staff never should have survived the 28-3 debacleThis firing should have happened last year IMO. I always felt that Atlanta had so much individual talent and they always underachieved .
I agree things could’ve been better for Baldwin had he gone to a better place. He could’ve been a solid wr. But this shows the difference in overall talent between the 2. Baldwins make or break depended on where he went; Julio would’ve been a star wherever he landed.Jon Baldwin had the talent, he needed a place that was going to instill discipline and hard work. Your landing spot in the NFL can make or break you. For example, if the Jets gets Trevor Lawrence, he will become a wreck. That does not mean he was not good.
Even with the Jets? Who will have been throwing him the ball?I agree things could’ve been better for Baldwin had he gone to a better place. He could’ve been a solid wr. Is that Miss Vickie??

They need to move on from Matt Ryan as well.
Yeah....and then I would sign him for chump change and immediately dump Hoyer. It's about time.
