Saints and Patriots are similar, but Bill Belichick’s infamously shrewd approach is the difference

If the pass were compete, or even if they scored on the next couple of plays, then Carroll would have been considered "infamously shrewd" for his two decisions at the end of each half.

It is what it is. Carroll is fine coach who has done a grew job in Seattle. Belichick is the best coach ever, who has done a much better job in New England.

To put it another way, why should anyone have a chance against the best coach, the best ownership, and the best QB in league history, especially when they have just beaten every top team in the AFC?

We are the best. Carroll almost beat the best.
