Saints and Colts games

my question is how do we always end up w/ a colts game, every season, no matter what?

you'd think some seasons we wouldn't get a colts game.

we have 6 division games, 2 NFC games, and there's 16 games total. that leaves 8 more games against the AFC, and there are 12 other AFC teams to choose from. I can't remember the last time we didn't have a colts game.

clearly the NFL wants us to have a colts game every year as its one of the biggest games of the year for the entire NFL. but at the same time, if they intentionally give us that matchup it automatically puts probably the most competitive game of the year on our schedule, year after year. not really fair to us.

You don't like this game? This is one of the best games of the NFL season all year. It is one of the first games the date is announced for when the official schedule is released. I think that it has become one of those games year in and year out that even non colts or pats fans look forward to as they get to see two of the best teams fight each year.

After watching that game last night the Saints look more and more like the Patriots of 2007 every week and you can see thier defense bend but not break and almost as if they are teasing thier opponent for 3 quarters only to get serious and put the game out of reach when it counts.

It is going to take one big serious outstanding game from another team to beat the Saints this season...yes,they are that good and I really don't know if the Patriots will be up to the task in a few weeks, hopefully they will be.

Because we're in the same conference and we both keep finishing in the same place in our divisions.

The NFL doesn't "give teams games". You can usually figure out what a team's schedule for the next year is by week 14 or so.

I know you play the schedule you are given, but the Colts have only played one team with a winning record (Arizona 4-3) and their opponents are a combined 17-33. They may be like the Giants and fold when they play the good teams.

Im going to have to respectuflly disagree with you...The 2007 patriots for the most part left every team in the dust by the 3rd quarter, the saints however are allowing teams to stay in the game untill the end. I can tell you this, if they let the pats stay in it untill 3 mins left in the game like they did miami and atlanta, the out come may not be so good for NO.

I kind of agree with you on this, last 2 games they have been al little sloppy. But too their credit , thomas and bells did not fumble if you watch the tape, thomas was down and pulled the ball in and bell had his knee down, and greer was pushed by the falcon receiver before he caught the long ball , should have been offensive interference, cant control some bad calls, its up to good teams to move on and win. But they lost the onside kick and had too many penalties, cant do that against the Pats.

I guarantee you we will steal a page from how your safeties were utilized. Love that slant blitz out of fake man coverage.

smart you saw that, Im sure the pats can easily duplicate it.
