Everyone takes their personal views to form an opinion. I live in a tight knit community, with lots of house parties. Woman you barely know expect a hug and kiss on the cheek when greeting at these parties. That is looking intimate to you? You must be a very horny guy.
If it wasn't for those 2 holding hands before the hug (which looks like an awkward, not intimate hug in the snapshot) none of the photos look like anything meaningful. Seems odd that someone trying to catch her cheating got no photos that were definitive like heading back to the same room, a kiss etc.
Of course, I have no idea how well Russini and Vrabel knew/know each other and whether even that level of affection was warranted.
Russini quitting was meaningless as her contract was up in June, and they would shelve her until then, guilty or innocent quitting was 100% what she had to do. Otherwise, the investigation would drag on until June and if they concluded they found nothing untoward the public wouldn't believe it. The NYT/Athletic would not renew her contract because she has lost the public trust and because they'd not renew the public would say the report was a cover up and she obviously did it. Resigning shortens the story, 100% the right move regardless of guilt.
People living a life with certain values and experiences see this as cheaters; others with different life experiences are keeping an open mind as it is plausible it could just be good friends but also realize it might be cheating.
Personally, I think there is just a lot missing if they were having an affair. There should be more evidence than these photos unless it was the very first time they decided to get together. But then it appears nothing actually happened or there'd be more photos.
