I know its crazy what gets tweeted these days. I even tweeted that the Patriots were interested in me to get a signing bonus from work.

But I googled Cedric anyway and if you ask me he's in very poor shape.



Unlike the KIA Forte which is a really nice drive and comes with 2 asian ladies

DUI Dispensing Cedric Benson doesn't have the same ring as Clock Killing Corey Dillon.

Here, Here I second that!

Not the same ring or even the same league.............Dillon broke records here and in Cincy, Benson, albeit a better player nowadays, broke gauges on the breathalyzers.....Dillon was a one-of-a-kind throwback.

All the same if its for a very reasonable contract its worth a look see, although I have full faith in the abilities of Vereen and Ridley, invaluable depth can't be overlooked especially given our teams track record with injury plagues.

I've been to Cincinnati and there's just not that much to do there when the 7-Eleven closes. It's a river town that is a hub that connects rural southeast Indiana, rural north-central Kentucky and rural southwest Ohio. None of the people who live in those areas like each other much and they all have guns.

You are correct. Cincy is scary.

If we want a veteran role player, I agree with the opinion that we could have Kevin Faulk at the drop of a hat for the minimum. Kevin is a pro's pro, and the kind of role model we would spend money on.

I dont think we need a veteran back, I dont want Benson and I sure as hell dont want to spend the cap space on Forte, just to steal carries away from two pretty promising kids that were taken early in the draft only a year ago. Why buy a starter when we can roll our own, and already have the makings in the kitchen?

Ridley and Woodhead are tested and pretty viable, plus Vereen is all upside.

If for some reason we think we need another back, take one in the draft, or find a UFA that can play STs. BJGE was a UFA too. Dont need to have pedigree to succeed.

I am so not worried. BB knows what he's doing on this front.

lol there's no way Benson is a Patriot. He HATES sharing carries and have two sophomore RBs who will need to get the ball as well as Woodhead. Benson doesn't work in a RB by committee approach.
