Rip David Patten

:( Without him there is no Super Bowl win that season. Gone too soon. RIP

OMG. This is very sad news. My condolences to David Patten's friends & family. He was a truly good dude.

Little remembered fact, he was back on the Pats during the 2010 training camp.

He was a favorite of mine. He and Troy are big reasons why a number one receiver was not necessary during those years. They each made a good number of number 1 receiver plays. God bless David, Rest In Peace, good man.

damn, that absolutely sucks....great football player...great Patriot....great person. God bless...

He made one hell of a touchdown catch in the SB against the Rams. RIP.

What a gut punch...DP, you are sorely missed, my friend. You'll forever be cherished among Patriots nation - gone far too soon. Thinking of the Patten family.

Awful news. Motorcycles are too dangerous.

I remember him signing with the Pats my Senior year of high school. Great player.

Damn one of my favorites as a pre teenager RIP

Motorcycles themselves aren’t dangerous. Unfortunately, even if you’re the safest rider on the planet, you still have to contend with horrible and distracted drivers all around you. Not worth it, IMO.
