Riddick predicting Hunter to Patriots

I'm trying to figure out what is going on with the final eight minutes of the video.

Was that little kid going to predict the the first round of the draft, and then we can compare her mock draft to the rest of the ESPN talking head's predictions?
YouTube is full of stuff like that. Notice the account of the uploader of that video. She inserted her little arts and crafts session at the end of an ESPN clip. She uploaded it knowing it’ll get her account views because people are baited by the sports clip. It’s basically bootlegging. It’s weird.

So, this is a weak draft with only two blue-chippers. Only 2 teams will get a blue-chipper. And, yes, Ward with also be drafted in the top 3.
===============
How much is getting one of these players worth to those who are scheduled to get the next 12 available players?

How much should a team be willing to offer the NYG or NE to get one of these picks.

Some posters have said that the answer is zero, that getting a blue chipper isn't worth much more than simply taking the #15 pick. What say you?
I suppose the logical answer would be: It depends on what value a team has on a specific player (even if they're not a "Blue Chip" talent). Or in this case, what such a value a team would place on those two players considered to be such in this draft class. Only those teams know how they rate those two players, or any of the other players for that matter.

JFC, **** is getting more and more ridiculous.
"My dogs junk hangs on the ground 3' at all times, but he runs like a gazelle and can jump 15' high"

I think your screen might have cut off the rest of what PHI is sending us. One future first to move up from #32 to #4 and just throwing some day 3 picks on top of it is an absolutely abomination of a trade offer.
That's what was accepted. When I tried asking for more it got rejected but I'm sure we could get more. I was trying to give an example of a scenario.

And future 1st.
Not worth it to me.
Have to get the LT. The extra 1st would likely be at the end of the round.

I’d rather trade down to around 15 and get a 2nd and next years 2nd.
Then I would trade up into round 1 and end up with a LT and a WR

I can't wait to see this board melt down when Hunter/Carter are on the board and they trade back.
Or take Campbell.

It will be fun to watch.

Popcorn please.
This is my biggest worry. Because all the top prospects after Hunter/Carter are similar in terms of quality and most have concerns of one type or another, I feel pretty comfortable drafting any of them whether it's Campbell, Membou, Walker, Warren, McMillan and even Jeanty. They're not ideal picks for the 4th overall, but they'll all upgrade the roster. The only way we 'lose' at 4, in my opinion, is if we pass on Hunter or Carter.

With that many options trading downs the smart move

Sure, but we need a trade partner. Who is that partner and what are they coming up for? It won't be Shedeur, why trade up to 4 when you can trade up to 5? And that's assuming teams think either the Raiders or Jets are taking Shedeur which is looking less likely now. The one hope we have is that someone falls in love with Mason Graham who is getting plenty of links to the Jags.

I want Travis Hunters to the Pats at #4... but that is a bit of glaze there. We used to catch the ball bare handed all the time in practice for high school football games. I'm sure that ability doesn't go away in college or the pros. Gloves just have a bit of stickiness to them to help aid in the catching but bare handed catching is a skill as old as time.

That's why I hope Hunter/Carter is there. Some team will be willing to trade up to get one of them. There is a gaping Black Hole at LT, NOT WR or DE. This team is devoid of talented depth at almost every position. There was a time the 40th player was more talented than some teams starters, now it's completely the opposite. Use the damn ammunition you have to start fixing the complete lack of talent across the roster, not take one player you don't need to boost your Fantasy Football points.

This team is also devoid of pro bowl caliber players. We have other picks to add depth but can we please have some players on the team that can turn a game a game on its head. Hunter and Carter are those guys.

I've noticed over these many years following the NFL and especially the Patriots, that there just seems to be some teams that more often than other teams, draft and coach players from the 2nd Round and after (especially the 3rd and 4th Rounds), to be Legit 1st Team Pro Bowl/All Pro Players. The kind of players that other teams will shell out big bucks for as FA's. Some live up to such contracts, and some don't. Matthew Judon was a 4th Round Draft Pick being just one of a multitude of such examples.

I know that when it's all said and done, that The Draft is sometimes a "Crap Shoot". Since Bill became HC, we did draft some excellent to very good players regardless of what round they were drafted in. But then we also had Brady and Bill's coaching genius. Making 9 SB's and winning 6 since 2001 has gotten us spoiled (and understandably so). However, even when we were at or among the top in the NFL, I recall just seeing us make really horrible draft picks and as each year passed, it became more and more of a problem (which we're still recovering from).

We NEED a solid to Elite LT. We NEED someone to be solid at LG. We'll need a replacement for Moses in two to three years (barring injury). And obviously, significantly better WR talent/performance. If Maye is what we suspect (or hope) that he is, a true Franchise QB. Then providing him with what he needs to mature and be successful is paramount. Assuming that Vrabel and the coaching staff can be superior to what the Bills have, then we need a lot of talent. It won't happen in one off season, but they really need to nail this draft and subsequent ones. This draft and the season that follows will be quite telling as to whether or not the team is heading in the right direction. At least I do know that the coaching situation is much better than last year (although that was a very low bar).

I'm just hoping to see good decisions made and see where it takes us. I have no idea what they're going to do in the draft. I just hope that the team does. And, that their decisions are proven to be the correct ones.

I think Browns are taking Hunter, unless the Patriots go up there and get him the dream is dead.

I’m on Carter or a trade down.

History continues to repeat itself.
A roster completely devoid of talent drafts a QB at the top of the 1st rd. The GM thinks the best way is to get weapons, while the QB continues to run for his life and get shellshocked because his team sucks. QB fails and is deemed a Bust because his moron GM wants to fill seats and appease fans with Fantasy Football mentality "generational talent" players, not build a complete roster.
Wash, Rinse, and Repeat.

I'm disappointed in you, you should know better...

There still might be a trading partner who wants to secure Sanders by getting our 4th pick because if that team settles for the 5th pick, it’s possible that another team gets the 4th pick from us and take Sanders.
