Rex Ryan Leaves Voice Mail For Jets Season Ticket Holders

I think it's actually a good move. You have to remember, the Jets suck, and New Yorkers are awful fans. They turned on this team pretty quickly last year, so something like this may get them on your side, for a bit at least.

And with all their chest thumping, etc. if they lose to the Mayo-less pats this weekend, those fans are GONE....GONE...GONE..... How fast will those same fans turn after all this talk and nothing to back it up with????

Talk about putting pressure on your own organization.......

Whatever happens for the fledgling Jets franchise, it will either be a spectacular success or a devastating debacle.

For the Patriots? The sun will rise, the sun will set and they will have lunch(in the immortal words of Lou Gorman). Whatever happens on Sunday - - they've been there before - - whether it is a "You ain't us and never will be us" victory or a "see you in Foxboro later in the year" defeat (see how the 2003 year turned out respectively for the Buffalo Bills and the Patriots after the 31-0 Bill victory in week 1 - -the Pats have been there and they know how to move on - - the Jets have no roadmap for it).

Either way, Monday morning September 20th, win or lose, no matter what the standings say after week #2, the Patriots will STILL be in better position for the season than the Jets.

I LOVE the way this chessboard is set up.

That raises a good question regarding the rest of the Jest's matchups. Will they do the same for the next 14 opponents with all the media spot lights, the articles calling them the next winners of the SB, and so on?

All of this attention will be a great burden onto the team as a whole, and god forbid if they win on Sunday, they will be so pumped and set on going all the way that it will be very dangerous if and when they don't succeed.

They are backed into the proverbial corner.....and it's only week #2.

Way to max out a credit card!

This is like watching a car crash in slow motion. Whether or not they win this Sunday, that team is just not psychologically set for the rest of the season.

.....and if they lose, we'll actually be feeling sorry for them on Monday.

So will the rest of the mediots who will claim somehow that the Patriots cheated to win and are heartless....

Doc Rivers left a recorded one last year, lame

Who knows. Maybe it's all a bid to try and be more enticing than the Giants. The Jets inferiority complex vis-a-vis the Pats is only outdone by their complex with the Giants.
