i looked at some clips of the game so far....and i think i have the most important reason for why our o-line struggled so much

(dont give me the Giants D-line is great BS, we easily handled them in week 17)

here it is: Logan Mankins had a bad game...

that is all...Light did phenominal in the game...until mankins messed up...

kaczur had his usuall one mess up he has about every game, except this time it happened 3 times...but thats was still not the problem...

heres wut i believe...for some reason or other logan had a bad game, and let up nearly all the pressure from the inside get to tom brady...not sure why he had a bad game, but it affected light....because every time logan lost his man, he bumped into light...which made light lose leverage and not be able to block his man...

koppen and neal were solid...until neal left, and huchinson had one bad play at the final pats drive, were brady got really leveled...

well, theres my very below average analysis...

Light killed us with his penalties, Kaczur mistakes get magnified when everyone else screws up, and I thought Mankins played awful.

Searching for a reason: Neal got hurt and koppen may have been giving a little extra help to that side.

While the o-line sucked I don't think it was why we lost.

The coaching killed us all game and had the worst play call in superbowl history on the blitz leaving Hobbs on an island with burress.

I think we really missed charlie and romeo.

I don't need to review it, they SUCKED.
But then again they got no help from the play calling of the OC. because he SUCKED also.

Yeah, there is a lot of truth in that. We haven't won the big game since Charlie left for ND, and Romeo went on to coach Cleveland. I think we would have won 23-10 if Weiss and Crennel were coaching and Adam Viniatari was still kicking for us. The mystery of SB XLII was the decision by Belichick to go for it on 4th and 13 instead of trying a 50 yd FGA. Did Gostkowski get injured?

If that's the case then that is this year's "unbelievable" in the playoffs. In Denver it was 5 turnovers, the worst being Brady's ill-advised throw. In Indy it was blowing an 18-point lead while giving up 32 2nd-half points. Logan Mankins is a beast, he rarely has a bad game (Baltimore, maybe). If the most reliable o-lineman had a bad game, it's no wonder the Pats lost.

i never looked at it that way...but yup...it makes sense

btw, for those who know the rules so well...

our O-line got penelized before for diving at the d-lines knees a couple of times....

i didnt notice until today, but on one play, i believe it was tuck...but one of the NT's of the giants went after logan, and tripped....and then went into gorilla stance (his feet flat on the ground, with his knes barely bent, but bending over and touching the ground with his palms) in front of mankins and started pushing mankins wiht his hands from that position....right at the knees....is that legal?

i doubt it

was it called?
