These Falcons are a bunch of dirty birds.

In 2010 lol is it Sunday yet
The small batch of emails here are from 2010, and the attorneys say there's a lot more where that came from.

Thanks for your thoughtful contribution, though!

attorneys never lie lol. Probably is a lot more. It's the NFL after all. Will end up a non story imo

There's just so much integrity here Roger won't know what to do with it all.
But they're Roger's ideal team.
They don't win too much and embarrass the other owners.

Growing up, living in Boston I've seen what these do 1st hand. A lot more than I care to admit tbh.

1) 2017 these companies can make almost anything they want but know they literally have millions hooked.

2) 2017 NFL, teams etc have to know on the long run this is a bad thing, just bad for business.

I'm not the smartest the guy but I can say w/ 100% certainty that it doesn't matter how much $ you have. If you're hooked you're spending every dime on your fix.
We all know how broke these guys are just a few years after their done w/ the league.

3) It seems popular in some mainstream music to take everything from pills to dirty sprite etc. Thats not "gangsta", "tough" or "cool". It's dumb and a awful lifestyle to live. Again not cool being broke from being a junkie.

Ultimately this is a one of many problems the NFL has no ****in clue how to handle.

I refuse painkillers if my doctor asks me if I need them. Even when I had a bad toothache, I asked the doc for just 3 until I had a root canal the next day

Using them recreationally is one of the major signs of Loserville
4 Tylenol and 4 Advil at the same time works way better IMO.

You clearly have never been high off of percoset or oxycontin. I broke both my arms when I was 16 and was given a bottle full of percs.. I had no idea what percs even were and what they did. As soon as I took a couple my body told me that these pills are bliss.

I disagree its a sign of loserville but they are extremely dangerous. And you are smart to stand clear of putting opiates in your body.

Last team we faced in Houston in the SB did a lot of illegal substances too...

Can the media just stop with these pre Super Bowl scandals? Seems like it's starting to become a trend for teams dirty laundry to get let out conveniently during SB week.

I don't care about karma this or that, it's stupid.

That's smart, I almost never use painkillers, even Tylenol/aspirin unless I absolutely have to.. which is pretty rare and only if I have a real, real bad headache

I wouldn't necessarily refer to people who overuse them as losers, chances are they're an addict and need professional help

This is Roger Goodell's new NFL... he's incorporating the WWE style drama to the sport so that they can have 365 days a year coverage of the NFL...

Deflategate put the NFL at the forefront of the news during the typically black hole months of February-June... when there is almost zero NFL coverage or news outside of the opening days of free agency in early march and 3 days in april for the draft

Its ruining this game

I've been to loserville and have been sober since 1989....so I understand the illness

But it's still loserville and anyone that's been there and Back views it that way.

It's a long trip out and a quick return trip!

Thank God for Dr Bob and Bill W

My friend, I've been high on most everything. My drugs of choice were cocaine and alcohol.

God willing, my last high was in December of '89. So yes, I have been high on Percs. Thankfully, I never had a taste for them or other opiates. But coke can be just as ugly

Whenever I see a doctor or visit the ER, the first thing I tell them is I'm a recovering alcoholic & addict

Or a major sign of an otherwise good person, having a problem.
I am that person AJ. At least prior to '89

And one of the main drivers that got me into recovery was that I knew down to the center of my being, I was in loserville.

And by the Grace of God, I found the willingness to walk out. You don't need to be PC about us addicts or recovering addicts. That stuff doesn't fly in the halls of recovery

If you know anyone "in the program", they'll tell you there no soft love. It's all about brutal honesty and tough love.

We tell newcomers if you want what we have, do what we do. And if you don't, don't let the door hit your ass on the way out

I wish society was more like that

Painkillers in the NFL are very, very old. Halfway thru this link it really details how bad the pounding is. Ex-star Dorsett suing NFL: "They use you up" - CBS News

Not defending the Dirty Burds - just saying I don't know how players do this.
I fully agree with you RC . But if it were the Pats????....

All teams have, and do "steal" signals...

A lot of teams use ineligible players..(some even do it, and cry, when others do it)

All footballs, naturally lose air.

BUT...

All teams DON'T pump noise into their PA's

All teams do rub routes (The Patriots do illegal pick plays)

I really don't care much anymore, but occasionally, I enjoy saying it.
