My totally made up speculation is that she did not take kindly to being told she had to step back. She's been wielding increasingly more power the last few years, especially since Bill left.

She got a taste of the limelight and now the shadows ain't good enough. She must have made so many millions working high up for the Krafts for so long, she can go do whatever she wants now.

My belief is Robyn Glaser wanted to further her career on the football side of the house. She felt with the Kraft's support and her relationship with Mayo provided that career path in football ops.

Now, football people believe in, "making your bones". Start from the bottom and work your way to the top. That's how Howie Roseman did it with the Iggles by fetching Andy Reid philly cheese steak subs and he didn't play a lick of football in college or HS.

I'm willing to bet way back when she approached Bill asking for opportunities in football ops and he told her to F off or he asked her to break down film for 16hrs a day.

Based on his career trajectory, I guarantee Vrabel is of the same mindset. Guessing her conversation with him did not go well.

I think it reflects badly on Kraft for letting her hang out to dry and take a lot of criticism, mostly blamed on inference and innuendo, without clarifying what her role has been. Can't blame her from walking away from that.
