If you put any stock into the blind items Giselle will off the record (so through a source or whatever) detail about how Brady did definitely sleep with Ben Affleck’s nanny in 2015 and that was the start of the breach in the marriage and why there’s been tabloid gossip about them being in on an off drama since around that exact time.

That's an awful long time to be on again off again. If it happened - which I am not entirely sold on but would find it hilarious if the nanny was cheating on Ben Affleck who was cheating on Jennifer Garner - there is a legal concept called condonation which basically means the cheater was forgiven by his/her spouse because they reconciled, continued living together, vacationing together, having sex, etc.... so legally she doesn't get to assign fault to Brady for the divorce.

I think it’s hilarious that there are people in the main bucs forum who are rooting for the divorce to happen so that Tom can focus on football. Who cares about Tom’s kids - as long as he gets ring #8!

Probably nothing. All I got from this post and the caption "Put That Sh*t On" was that he was referring to the Bucs/Chiefs game later that night between the same 2 teams from that Super Bowl victory being celebrated in the photo. Like I said in the other thread, it's Brady's own fault for wanting to play until 45.

Continuing to do his job, which he's become known as a living legend for (and has only further cemented it with 2020 and 2021 seasons) puts Brady at fault for their divorce? Gisele is justified in wanting him to call it quits? Enough clownish takes. Brady could rescue a family of 5 from a burning car and you'd find a way to criticize it.

Do you not realize what they'd be doing together if he retired? A bunch of vain, purposeless garbage involving red carpet events, movie/TV show appearances, cryptocurrency conferences, and meetings for brand deals/their own products (aka more materialistic trash). They would have several more decades to do all that. The time left for Brady to continue playing as a living legend is 1-3 years. Maybe even 5. The notion that this severely limits time with his family is downright insane.

Brady post-Patriots is making you look bad (along with the team and coach you revere). That's why you want him retired and have turned to hating him with absurd takes,

Tom chose football over family. Women aren't putting up with that, she waited long enough and gave him an ultimatum during the offseason. She feels unheard and I really feel sorry for the kids. They are the ones that suffer. It's been rumored that he's retiring after this year anyway, surprised they couldn't work things out, but as I said earlier she's fed up and feels like he doesn't care.

Women aren't putting up with what exactly? Do you mean... making a stupid, borderline evil ultimatum out of a husband's passion (his legendary football career) by pitting it against the stability of his family and saying "pick one or else we get divorced" (effectively what seems to have happened).

Sorry, she’s been hinting for years that she has sacrificed her own life and career for Brady’s…and the guy just wants to keep playing football. An eighth or ninth Super Bowl isn’t going to make a difference for him in the grand scheme of things…however, a wife and family are immeasurably more important.

edit: the people who think Gisele should just shut up and support her husband probably aren't aware of how much time away from the family football players take. It's one thing when you are in your 20s or early 30s. Once you get older, however, there are other priorities. Football isn't a 9 to 5 job.

Obviously sad for the kids. I’ve been married 14 years, and it’s not easy. Marriage is give and take and it’s a lot of work. Like others have said it’s likely a lot of other things along with his returning to football that has got them to this point.

Brady works 5 months a year and is home every night except 8 Saturdays a year on the road. It’s not like baseball or basketball and 3 week road trips.

Maybe. But it’s worth noting Giselle did retire from a career she really didn’t need to retire from that was far more lucrative for the family than Tom’s and isn’t putting her health at nearly as much risk. She also moved her family away from where they grew up and took them out of the schools they were going to so her husband could play football somewhere else.

I mean really after he won a title his first year in Tampa, got to 7 and proved he could win without Belichick it was a perfect time to run off in the sunset
