Its just more negative speculation, from Bostons negative media.
You guys make Reiss out to be a saint.
Heres what I know about Reiss, he is not a Pats fan,and he is getting paid to wildly speculate, negativity sells. He is no better than Borges,Shank,or Ryan. His digs at the team are just more subtle because hes their beat reporter and needs to not upset the apple cart. But he always underestimates the team;always.

Heres what else I know while Brady was on the sideline he rotated his arm 360 degrees , so his shoulder was not separated even a little.
Even the Heralds beat reporter Rappoport hasnt been as negative about Brady, he said Galloway talked to him and he said he was fine.
So you guys can worship at the feet of Reiss all you want, but this guy aint buying it.
Reiss knows what he's doing and that's showing ESPN that he's got what it takes.
There you go, media ho for hire.
Sorry, I usually take Mike for having sources, but this is just speculation, in my opinion.
Collarbone? Spinning your arm around like a windwill isn't one of the things I thought of trying when I broke mine.
BB doesn't care about giving people relief. You need look no farther than last preseason when Brady didn't play because he was still nursing the ankle injury that he suffered in the AFC Championship game - or whatever. When the real season rolled around he was on the field (even if it was for less than a quarter, but that has nothing to do with my point).Even he just plays for 3 plays, it will still show people that he is capable of going on the field and maybe it will give some people the relief to see him out on the field, even if it's for very, very limited time.
A separation and a dislocation are two entirely different things. They don't even involve the same joint. A separation is a stretching or tearin of the ligaments of the AC joint - between the clavicle and the acromium process of the scapula. This is a joint that most people don't even know they have unless they hurt it. A dislocation is in the actual shoulder joint.I had a shoulder dislocation. Brady wouldn't have been moving his arm much at all if that had been the case. Same with a separation. I think that, at most, he strained a muscles of muscles, because, even with a body in peak form, there is still a high level of pain associated with tears and damage in the shoulder area. It's something he would be hard-placed to hide on the sidelines.
I'm not a doctor, just speaking from my own personal experience which, along with $5.00, will get me a cuppa Joe at Starbucks..
Reiss is a reporter like Shank and Ryan and Borges. They dont like our team, they want bad things to happen to our team. It sells papers and generates hits on their site.

PS the amount of pain all depends on the degree of separation, if it in fact is a separation. A mild separation will just involve tolerable pain in the AC joint, and in my personal experience (because I had that injury) not prevent someone from raising the arm over the head or rotating it. And it will heal on its own in a couple of weeks.
BTW, some of you "longer term" Pats fans may remember Drew Bledsoe falling just like Brady did on his right shoulder and getting a mild separation. He was back in a couple of weeks. I am not saying that is what happened to Brady but it seems to be a possibility.
Reiss didn't say it was a dislocated shoulder or a broken collarbone. Reiss said that he thought it was more serious than BB is saying (BB is saying that Brady has bumps and bruises like everyone else).Ian - People said the same thing about Tom Curran when Curran ran the story about Brady back in March. And Curran ended up eating a lot of crow on that.
I would be very surprised if Brady dislocated his shoulder or broke his collarbone.
Realistic is just what people say instead of pessimistic. He picks this team to have less wins than it ends up having every year, so hes not being realistic.
I have no animosity to Reiss, I also have no animosity to lions or bears. They do what is in their nature. Lions kill, Bears kill, Reporters, thrive on bad news even if they have to create it.
Mussolinni only looks good standing next to Hitler and Stalin.
Tom was stretching and working the arm on the sideline afterwards so it's obviously not serious, he's more than likely sprained the ligaments a little and he'll be a little stiff there for a few days.
Christ, it's football guys...You can't wrap Brady in cotton wool forever.
