It's not worth it to bring these guys who are just barely hanging on to their last year or 2 at best in this league onto the roster at the expense of younger guys.

Wayne is ancient now, hes a slot receiver basically at this point in his career and we have plenty of those.

Same as the Welker situation, I wouldn't have any interest in Wayne unless something awful happens in training camp and we sustain a major injury to one of our starting receivers

Have a ton of respect for him and the way he's played his entire career (even though he was a disgusting Colt), but this isn't 2010, it's 2015 and he's over the hill with MAYBE 1 good year left in him at best.

We just won a SB with our receiving core and they'll all have another year of experience in this offense so they should only get better.
