Some posters (no one who posts regularly) will think I'm wrong, but that 2008 Steelers game is a lot closer if it's later in the year. And the Steelers won the SB that year.
@ Dolphins L (loss to former assistant coach)
You do realize that the 2008 Steelers game was November 30th right?
And it followed a game where Cassel threw for 400+ yards and put up 48 points on Miami.
12-4 is generally always my guess. Drop a random game against a crappy team. Drop a division game. Drop a road game. Drop the game in Miami.
I feel like whenever we have these prediction threads, 12-4 should be outlawed. It's just such a standard year for them, it means more to go out on a limb and predict higher or lower than that.
Agree. It could easily be a four part poll:
1. Bad season - 9 or lower
2. Below average season - 10/11
3. Very good season - 13/14
4. One for the ages - 15/16
I'm not worried about Baltimore. They lost a lot on defense, have to see what their new defense looks like. Run Pass Option? Let's see how teams respond. They looked lost in the playoffs last year. There are only two non-division games I'm worried about: @Baltimore and @Philadelphia. Add in a random loss or two against Buffalo and Miami...12-4.
It's interesting how in the BB era the team has had every possible winning record but one....
