The NFL, in my opinion, will never again go near any situation which involves alleged cheating, even by the Patriots. I've come to believe that Deflategate was such a ****show for them that their reaction to any perceived " cheating" will be "nothing to see here.". I think the league reaction to walkie-talkie, alleged injury report violations by several teams, including NE, etc. recently has borne that out. Our team got f#####, but no one else will be investigated and sanctioned for a long, long time.
If it happened to be the NFL Network or ESPN, you'd be looking for work by nightfall...If I was an ex Patriot player working in the media I would make up the same story in my next interview just to see what happens then call the media/qunts out.
I did send him an email about it so hopefully that helped. Although nothing will likely come of it ( sounds familiar especially if any scandal involves Giants, Steelers Broncos and now Colts) I think Florio was more likely to cover it since the original source was a link from him in PFT Josh Alper's Monday morning one liners section.... He gets more clicks and the bosses at NBC are happy....BTW I just checked PFT and Florio just posted a story on the Glenn comments about the hearing aids. He of course asked all the right question, but didn't expect much to come of it since it happened in 1998 and Manning is involved.
File this under "nothing to see here"......again.
Maybe the NFL* will force the Colts to take down one or two participation banners?
