Rapaport: Greg Schiano likely to join Pats in “top defensive role”

Not sure I believe the hype about Schiano, what I have seen is that the Pats prefer their own coaching meritocracy... Flores had 14 years of experience at various positions with the Pats before he became the "Defensive Play Caller"...

Brendan Daly and Josh Boyer may be next in line to be the "Defensive Play Caller", Steven Belichick may need more experience..

Rappaport is back on this story saying Schiano is the guy. He said Belichick
should be meeting with him tomorrow or so with an announcement to come quickly.

What is weird is that usually there are no announcements. But the Pats send out a press release with their coaches for the season and thats it.

Schiano coached McCourty, joey bosa and nick bosa. Bielma was a dumpster fire at Arkansas.

Not sure I like this hire, I trust Bill though so if he thinks this is the best choice to help us win#7 then this is the best choice.

If Bill doesn't have 100% street cred with this fan base he never will.

Questioning his decisions is reasonable but saying they suck without seeing them play out is dumb
