The only real difficulty with this ranking IMO is Marino. I think he's definitely above Ben, but beyond that you could justify putting him anywhere from 2 through 5 on this list.
Wilson, Eason, Millen, Kapp, Davey oh wait wrong list.
Brady, Manning, Rogers, Brees, Ben. Can't place Marino anywhere on this list, he is behind Brady but he was in a completely different era.
this is tough because it's a personal choice with a lot of gray area. do you value championships and nothing but? Brady 1 Ben 2 Marino last. how about bulk stats regardless of era? brees 1 manning 2 and so on and so forth.
I think you have to balance those things so someone like Bradshaw for instance despite 4 rings just doesn't have the stats to compete and Marino despite no rings threw for 5,000 yards in an era where one, MAYBE two elite QBs a year threw for 4,000 yards. The size of the gap means something. Then I add in, at least for the face of the franchise like most QB's are, likability or how they handle themselves off the field. It's how I split Rodgers and Brees cuz they are both damn good future first ballet HOFers.
So without further ado my list is Brady 1 Marino 2 Manning 3 Brees 4 Rodgers 5 Rapistburger 6. And if Marino is on this list then so should Joe Montana and he is clearly #2 so everyone else gets bumped down
I’d lose my mind trying to figure out the reasoning behind these particular QBs rather than others. Why Marino? Only player on the list from a past era. And why Roethlisberger? There’s no sane person outside of Pittsburgh who wouldn’t rank him last out of that group.
