Fantasy football has increased fan involvement/interest in the game while simultaneously ruining the perspective of an entire generation of fans and then some...

Sure, why not? Let's sign T.O. too and watch the whole thing reach critical mass before the bye week. It wouldn't be boring, that's for sure.

Agreed, Deion Branch was nowhere to be seen in SB 42. It was apalling.

How long ago was Deion's MVP SB performance? Do you really think Deion is the same player? C'mon. Anybody with eyes understands that the Patriots sure could use a deep threat to stretch the field....loosen up the defense a little. Right now my deep threat is Aaron Hernandez? LOL! I have no idea what I have in Price. Tate - meh.

You definitely do not want Ochocinco and Randy Moss in the same locker room. The Pats chose Ochocinco, so the Moss era with the team is over.

Ochostinko and Randy Moss are two completely different receivers and both are almost done.

Can he rush the passer?

Is that even a question anymore?

So sad to watch that he was so amazing in 2007 I still love the guy but it is so sad how he imploded.

As for Randy Moss, no thanks. But, if there's another 6'4" WR with 4.3 speed out there who could come in here to stretch the field vertically, I'd be interested.

but I thought they traded for Stinko, why would they need Moss? Too funny. Stinko is almost as old as moss is, did you know that? He's about done too.

Because every player of a similar age automatically has the exact same skill set affected by exactly matching rates of physical decline.

While we are at it, sign Ad Thomas

Agreed Garbanza.
I'll go a step further on Twiggy. His overall performance and MVP award are overrated when you take into account the high scoring nature of that game.
TO had similar numbers to Branch in that game in a losing cause.

Checkout Wes Welker's numbers in a low-scoring, tight SB loss to the Giants…they were not THAT different.

I like Deion. He runs crisp routes, has good hands, used to get seperation, and is Tom Brady's binky. However, I agree, that MVP was undeserved. Brady, Rodney, Bruschi - were more deserving.

I'll tell you, that is why the Ochostinko signing upset me. I'm still waiting for someone to explain to me how today's Ocho is any different that today's Branch besides height and inability to hold on to a ball. I want a "different" receiver. You know - someone that CAN go verticle swiftly. I have enough posession receivers willing to go over the middle.

Why not? Welker's hurt. A 3-wide spread of Moss, Ochostinko and Super Bowl MVP Branch is pretty exciting with Moss going over the top to pull the free safety out of the picture.

....hahahaha.....yah, that would pay dividends! LOL! Two 33 year olds and one 34 year old receivers past their primes, slower than then they used to be, not as physical as they once were working downfield, against the bump and run, with an o-line that can't hold on long enough to allow Brady and his geriatric crew enough time to get downfield and MAYBE get some seperation.

Ochocinco did stretch the field in 2009. He isn't a monster deep threat like Moss was, but he is a different receiver than Branch. Now his lack of stretching the field last year his fault or Carson Palmer's broken-down arm.
