RIP Marquise. Achieved more in his short life than I have in my long one.

Maybe he and Darryl Stingley are hanging out together.

RIP. Awful news. Prayers to his family & friends.

I hope he'll be up in heaven rooting for us as we kick ass in 2007.

The lead story on ESPNEWS right now is that Roger Clemens is making a minor league start tonight.

i heard nothing about Marquise on ESPN/ESPN News all day

shame. all their focus is on Vick, Clemens, Bonds and Indy 500

He was so young. I feel bad for him and his family.

Just turn off ESPN. All it is on that station is nonsense and crap. Its funny when a NYY pitcher dies thats all that is on their show all day and when a Pats player dies they dont even mention it.

I'm so very sad to think of Marquise's Hill's young life coming to an end and I send my sincere condolences to his team-mates, friends and family.

New England teammate Randall Gay of Baton Rouge was at the scene when authorities found Hill. Gay also played with Hill at LSU.

Gay said practice resumes Thursday for the Patriots.

"I know it's going to be hard in that locker room seeing his locker,'' he said
And Gay was there when his body was found...wow...tragic...

CBS and Boston.com are reporting that the body has been recovered and pulled from the lake.

Time to redirect prayers and thoughts to the surviving family, and for Hill's eternal care.

Sorry if this has already been posted elsewhere.

ESPNNEWS just led off the hour with the bad news. However they spent about 3 minutes on it... now they're showing highlights of the lacrosse national championship. Like I said earlier if this was Terrell Owens imagine the insane coverage.

So sad and such a waste. If only for the common sense of wearing a life vest, this never would have happened.

A really good guy all around that accomplished a tremendous amount of success during the way too short amount of time he was given.

I cannot stress enough that although he was a back up - he was one of the good guys, never a stitch of trouble, always worked hard and had nothing but respect for all that he came into contact with.

What a terrible tragedy - rest in peace Marquise Hill. Wow, I cannot believe I am typing this. How horrible.....the season should be dedicated to honor his memory.

thoughts go out to family and friends

may you rest in peace marquise hill
family and friends should be proud, he went out as a hero

WEEI and all the substitute hosts in today have barely stopped talking about Clemens, the Yankees, and the Celtics to mention Hill. Disgraceful. Burton and Johnson probably did the best job when they talked about it this morning. But DeOssie and Stearns haven't said a damn thing.

RIP, my prayers are out to the family. 24 and gone from this world too soon.
