It's easy, and only takes a few moments. They already have a good bit of room ($21M), not sure what they would need with another $20M that they couldn’t have already signed with what they have today. I’m sure they want picks more than they want cap relief.per OTC, if they cut him with a post June 1 designation, the Cardinals gain $19,450,000 in cap space and will have $10,500,000 in dead money.
That's alot of cap room.

I am starting a petition for the old Mac 10 back. He's one of the reasons why I come here.MAC10 is Showtime 15? Showtime 15 is MAC10?
So MAC10 (Little Timmy) is officially a Chiefs fan now?
They won with Travis KelceI am sure their brass can make room for that talent I mean they won with Juju as their Top WR Hopkins > Juju.
I am not sure how reliable "bro bible" is, but they are citing Albert Breer, who is a good source.
“There’s nobody who was willing to take on Hopkins’ contract and pay the Cardinals initial asking price.”
So, do you offer him a decent contract if you were to keep all of your draft picks in your pocket? Why not?

I will have to see if https://twitter.com/IncarceratedBob has any opinion.
Wow the possibilities Lamb - Cooks and D-Hop even Dak can't mess that up. C'mon BB offer a Third and a restructure in writing if Hokins makes it to contender they will win it all.
I'm pretty sure this forum would be elated if Hopkins were to get traded to the Patriots. The addition of Hopkins would slot all of the WRs into their proper spot: WR1 Hopkins, WR2 JuJu, WR3 Parker, Bourne WR4, Thornton WR5... you're ready to roll with that group. He is doing patriots a favor. Not worth the money at his age
I think if the Patriots offered more money, that cold reaction would turn pretty quickly. I mean, that's why players end up on non-competitive teams. They like money, just like normal people.I'm pretty sure this forum would be elated if Hopkins were to get traded to the Patriots. Also, I think you're missing another point here. It's likely Hopkins cold reaction to being traded to the Patriots is representative of how a lot of upper tier WRs would feel. Reasons: 1) location/climate, 2) reputation as a not player friendly organization, and 3) most importantly, the QB situation is highly unattractive.
It's a trade scenario so his existing contract comes with him. Hopkins has a base salary of $20 mil in 2023 and $15 mil in 2024.I think if the Patriots offered more money, that cold reaction would turn pretty quickly. That's not bad at all. It's a trade scenario so his existing contract comes with him. Hopkins has a base salary of $20 mil in 2023 and $15 mil in 2024.
I agree with you I do think the fans would be elated if Hopkins were traded to the patriots. However, that does not mean it would work out well for the team. In fact, in two or three years when hopefully the team is ready to compete Hopkins will be way over the hill.I'm pretty sure this forum would be elated if Hopkins were to get traded to the Patriots. Or he puts us into contention now! Even Mac would be able to play catch with the Defense.I agree with you I do think the fans would be elated if Hopkins were traded to the patriots.
