Well, we won a preseason game. The result is not as important as 1. progress of the team units and 2. no serious injuries suffered.
I do like what I'm seeing from Jimmy G. If Brady ends up missing time, I feel Grap will fill in well enough for us to win a few games.
Yup. I don't think you can ask much more of a developmental QB at the start of his second season. His patience and arm placement was Brady-esque to get that final first down on that screen and twice now he's gone into the game behind and come out with a W. That's probably more than I was expecting.
Yes he's gone up against 2s and 3s, but then he hasn't had Gronk, Edelman or Chandler to throw too.
