a.) Looking forward to it too. I might do the NFL game pass free trail for this game and the Giants pre-season finale...otherwise, I have to wait until Friday 1PM PST to see the game.

b.) Last week, DirecTV blocked me from taping the Titans game replay on NFLN for some BS reason. That was fixed, but I couldn't watch the game until last night...and I also cannot find the Titans game thread...so I'll just drop my game notes below here which I think is a bit relevant to tonight's game...hope nobody minds and pardon the spelling errors (all notes on my iPhone while drinking beer):

    Week 2PS @ Titans notes:

    First quarter:

    Ghost touchback

Calhoun doesn't contain the inside. Allows Lewis to run for 7-8 yards.

Cowart big sack. Just shoved the guard single handedly.

JJW nice PBU on Davis. Challenged. Stands!

Berrios back as PR. Ebner and Slater were on the PRR first team.

Hoyer throws a pick on his second pass. DB undercut Berrios' route. First pass was an overthrow deep.

    Munson nice tackle...text book.

Munson/Wise stop Dion Lewis short of the first down.

3rd and short stop. Shelton penetrated the line.

Berrios at PR. Illegal shift...BB declined. Pats to start deep in their side of the field.

    22 personnel.

11 personnel with trip WR on the other side. Titans in a 3 down DL front with a LB at the LOS between LG/C (1 technique?) Titans end up rushing 6 and a DB sacks Hoyer. Penalty tho....on Butler.

Empty 5 WR with Harris split wide.

Harris doesn't pick up the first down.

Allen to punt. 50 yards then 10-15 yard bounce.

Bentley breaks thru the LOS for a tackle.

Pats playing with 3 down linemen and two edge guys.

JJW another PBU by pulling at Davis' arms.

JCJ allows Davis to get open inside by playing over the top. Davis made a good cut and accelerated.

Bentley almost catches Lewis behind the LOS for a loss. Hands to face penalty on Shelton anyway.

Bentley whiffs on Dion Lewis allowing 5 ypc.

McNichols ran into the EZ untouched. Flag....holding, but Wise got sealed off badly. And Calhoun rushed outside too without minding the gap again (could be a scheme thing tho).

Another Munson text book tackle. Calhoun dinged up.

Penalty on JCJ. Looks like WR #11 pulled JCJ into him.

Walker beats Obi for a TD. Great throw/play though.

JJW seems to be covering Davis exclusively this game so far. Interesting...

    Bolden at KR.

    Mariota done for the night.

I like the back up FB...#47...Jackobi Johnson? more speed than Develin, IMO.

Meyers continues to make plays. Wide open that time tho...Titans must be in zone D.

Harris looking good to me...the rookie RB.

Skipper at RT...allows pressure on Hoyer who rolls out for a 2-3 yard gain.

Skipper gets help blocking by #64. Hoyer hits Harris for 1st D.

Harris almost scores! Down at the one-ish....

    Second quarter:

    12 personnel. No gain.

Same alignment but sweep wide and the back up FB #47 makes a good block although unnecessary. TD. Meyers for 2.

    8-8 early in the 2nd.

Winovich at Tannehill's feet! Love it!

    Wise offsides.

Crossen beat over the middle but a good hit by Brooks.

#45 got run over too easily, IMO.

Munson great hit even if it was a TD by McNichols.

    15-8 Titans 10:01 2nd.

    Olzewski...really like this kid.

Hoyer sacked...looks like Ferentz blew his assignment.

#74 not blocking well at LT. Allen to punt....50 yards OOB.

Winovich tackles McNichols for a loss.

Brandon King gets beat for a reception along the sideline.

Crossen good PBU even if penalty.

    Winovich pressure for an incompletion!!!

    Brooks PBU.

    Berrios still at PR...hmmmm.

    Holding. Safety. 17-8 Titans, 4:37 2Q.

Punter is still Allen....interesting. 65 yards in the air from the 20 to the 15. Running punt tho....

    12 men on the field...penalty.

JJW allows a reception to Taylor over the middle.

Christian Sam is out there now.

Watching Winovich mainly....has trouble vs. bigger guys when getting tangled up.

Winovich sack (went undernath his blocker outside)...nice!!!

    Berrios at PR? Yup....

Doing nothing on offense. Bailey to punt from the 9. Ball ends up for a fair catch at the Titan 35. 56 yards in the air and Bailey looked like he didn't even try that hard. Penalty.....false start...declined anyway.

    Winovich pressure!!!

Winovich read that QB fake hand off and ran Woodside OOB.

Crossen PBU. Pass off target tho.

Winovich pressure again..deep down middle to TE. Half time.

    Third quarter:

Olzewski at KR..only makes it to the 19.

    Stidham!

Meyers on 3rd and long. He reminds me of Anquan Boldin....who ran a 4.7 (albeit AB was about 15lbs heavier).

Shuebert the new TE makes a sliding catch...nice.

Kendricks down the middle...very nice. We know Watson makes it...but who are the next two TE's???

Williams again down the sideline..yup 80 carries this year at minimum, IMO.

Stidham nearly picked off at the goal line. Schobert was the target, but think Meyers could have been open in the back EZ near the goal post...Stidham never looked at

Meyers. Stidham was already running down field after releasing that ball.

    Meyers targeted..drops...flag...holding. Close play tho.

    Brosste TD. 17 - 15 Titans 9:49 3q.

    4:02 left 3q...

Winovich runs down Woodside for a 3rd down stop from the other side...

    Wide left...17-15 Tits

Brossette and Meyers ..close to RZ now.

Deep to Schobert...double covered...PBU by underneath guy.

#77 is bad at RT. Flushes out Stidham for a 1st down tho.

    Fourth quarter:

Stalled drive. Some good Titan pressure tho.

    Missee figgie...christ..ghost kills me sometimes...

    Meyers makes another play.

Meyers again and Stidham throwing it well...tight spirals.

Inman over the middle. The fact he is back home with the Chargers is very telling of our WR depth.

Izzo down the middle...hit low. Is Ok. Big gain!

    Holding on Fordholt.

Stidham to Williams for about 7.

Williams stuffed on a screen. 3rd down and 11ish.

Empty formation...back shoulder to Patterson. 22-17 Pats. 4:12 left 4q.

#75 good pressure and Winovich still has a high motor this late in the game.

Olszewski on PR....decent return. Like this dude!!

Meyers almost converts a 2nd and 22....and takes a nasty hit after hesitating a bit.

    Stidham moves the chains!

Titans out of TO's. 2:26 left.

Got the game clinching first down. Ball game.

    Things I’m looking forward to..
    - DL play. Cowart and whether he continues to look the part. As well as more insight on Pennell who there’s been a range of opinions on.
    - How the defense plays McCaffrey out of the backfield. Hopefully he’s on the field for more than just a series to get a decent look.
    - Any info that can be gathered from who’s out there on special teams. Been some roster debates over whether some special teams focused guys may be on the bubble vs. guys who can play special teams and also be capable backups on D and O.
    - OL play. Skipper, St. Louis, Croston. Like to see them moved around between both tackle spots.
    - WR/TE play from top to bottom.

Would like to see if any of these TE's are worth a dam with Brady. Would love to see a strong game from Maurice Harris to cement his spot. IF N Harry goes would like see him play most of the game to see where he's at mentally he more than passes the physical part. Also hope that midget Berrios runs the wrong route fumble a punt return and gets yelled at by Brady even Matt Patricia wouldn't want him after that *j/k*.:D

On offense: TE, WR & OT, in that order.

On defense: backup/depth jobs up for grabs at all levels.

    On STs: Bailey.

    I'm looking forward to seeing:

    1) What the OT situation looks like in live action - I hope we get a bit of both Wynn and Skipper against first team edge rushers (and I hope Brady doesn't get killed)

    2) Very interested to see the running back rotation tonight - I know they're not game planning but the mix and match with Michel, Harris, White and Burkhead is so potent in both run or pass situations

    3) Chung?

    4) Brady to Meyers

The biggest reason for intrigue with regards to this game is that we have 2 positions where we really don't know how many the team feels it needs to carry. The TE and QB positions are sort of holding fan predictions hostage, in that sense, because of the impact they'll have on numbers at other positions. I think most positions are fairly clear, in terms of player rankings.

So, while I'll be interested in individual players, I have those two positional issues as top items.
