Saw that Brady ranked us at #8.

Kiss my ass. Go clone a dog or something.
I think Brady might be a bit concerned about someone eclipsing his legacy. No other way to account for that absurd ranking.
The observation I've seen from Troy Aikman since he's been doing commentary is that he likes it when the Cowboys lose. That 2007 team was loaded and heavy favorites to be the NFC champs. Tony Romo was getting a lot of attention as the media darling and fooling around with Carrie Underwood and later Jessica Simpson.

I don't think he liked Tony Romo, but especially Dak Prescott with his outrageous contract for doing absolutely nothing as a team.

without Williams and Spillane, Campbell, Boutte and Wilson are we clearly better than #8?

8 is still a 2d round playoff team. (At least the bye or one playoff win)

How many of us Homers have more than just HOPE for an AFCCG ( a top 4 team) or SB appearance. 8 is fair, especially as you say, based on injury status & unknowns there.

T Henderson??

Jesters Aaron Glenn:

"For the fans, listen, it's going to be a tough road," he said, via ESPN. "We knew that, but, man, the thing is, we know exactly what we're doing. We have a plan. Just don't let go of the rope, I would say that." ***

"We plan on going out there and playing our best and giving effort," he said. "We plan on going out there and winning the game also, all right? We do. We want to go out there and put on a good show for our fans. We know it's our last home game (versus New England in Week 17). We look forward to it.„

So far, it's been difficult to see that plan.

I hope Glenn‘s plan for winning is equally as opaque as his rebuild plan. LOL.

If we play this game like a preseason roster, we might get surprised. I'm glad Diggs is saying the right stuff.
We can't let down just because guys are hurt, we're 1 loss from losing the division.
I'm actually surprised Vrabel isn't having at least a light practice today - especially if there's a lot of backups that are going to start this week. BB didn't take holidays off. (boo - I'm the grinch

Im not sure how many practices they are allowed anymore. I know padded ones have a strict count and he had to manage /ration them throughout year to still have some to use. There was some discussion about it apps 3-4 weeks ago.

This might be the most ridiculous thing i've ever read on this site, and there have been about a thousand doozies throughout the years.

I'm sure Brady is having sleepless nights that someone who hasn't played, let alone won, a playoff game yet, will make it to 10 Super Bowls and win 7. There couldn't possibly be another reasonable explanation.

Brady had the Pats at #1 two weeks ago. The horrendous half against the Bills, and the mediocre play for about 52 minutes against a 7-7 team with a back-up QB, have obviously contributed to our current ranking. We've beaten exactly one team in his top 10, that was two months ago, and we lost to that same team a week ago. But i guess Brady's jealousy and insecurity were dormant two weeks ago when Drake was the betting favorite for MVP and he had the Pats at #1, and suddenly manifested itself, when he's second favorite after Stafford.

…and now for the defense.

We may have lucked out a bit with Elijah Moore per one of the talking heads, don’t remember which one.

He said that Moore was recently cut by the Colts and may actually be completion for Gibbs’ spot next season.

Sounds like some good fortune this late in the season.
