I just heard Michael Robinson on nfln predict that fletcher cox would be the mvp of the SB. Here is his reason FLETCHER COX HAD 17 QB HITS IN THE REGULAR SEASON and that kind of pressure will affect tom Brady.
Think about this for a minute.
Last Sb tom Brady completed 43 passes but since fletcher cox is likely to hit him ONCE that’s going to make him the mvp.
How are these guys paid to do this?

I guess since they ask these guys they have to give a prediction but usually they're way off. The game never follows the script you think it will, see last year' super bowl as an example.

I guess if you common core 17 hits over 16 games, let's see, divide by "Exponent", carry the 12, multiply by a factor of 12.5 psi adjusted for sea level on Jupiters moon titan at -179C, you get... yep Brady's f+|%ed.

Wait a second.....you stole that out of the Wells Report.

One hit? That’s no more than an annoying little pissant.
Hey I love Fletcher Cox. May have to re-evaluate whether or not I’ll continue to post on Patsfans. *Drop mic*

Nah it’ll be much more difficult to get rid of me

I'm going to openly admit that this is superstitious nonsense, and that nothing I say here or think in my head will impact this game, BUT:

I made fun of a similar prediction before Super Bowl 42 where someone said that the Giants were definitely going to win because in the previous Giants game, Ron Dayne trucked Rodney Harrison on one run. That was the entirety of the argument, and I rightfully laughed at it. And then I didn't laugh again for 7 years.

It's even funnier when people get mad or upset over predictions:

"OMG, Peter King didn't pick the Pats, he is a hater and this team is doomed"

45-17 Pats
Sudfeld finishes game as Eagles QB
Pats defense forces 4 turnovers, scoring on 2 of them
Dwayne Allen has 2 TDs............
Brady 30/47 347 yds 3 TD, 1 int.....

Dude, I was watching NFLN last night and I was genuinely looking for legit analysis (shame on me), and Tre Boston, Reggie Bush and Michael Robinson, were all sitting there with Lindsay Rhodes.

This is no joke, here is what was said:

"The Eagles have a good chance to blow out the Pats" - M. Robinson

"Atlanta and Philly have more talented rosters than NE" - - M. Robinson

"Foles should be studying NE film from Sept, when RPO QBs put up a lot of points on the Pats D" - R. Bush

I sat there stunned....Then, I realized Bush is jealous of NE's amount of rings, BB never had interest in his overrated self as an overrated scatback who cost too much, and then I felt bad because his IQ is clearly lower than 100. Poor Weggie. Never quite as good as he thought he was.

Michael Robinson, former Seahawks FB, is jealous NE beat Seattle in SB 49 and have more rings than his former team in recent years.

Mind you, these comments were followed by awkward smirks and giggling, with Lindsay Rhodes shocked, just sitting there.

WOW

If you're watching game tape on the Pats D from Sept, thinking that's going to help you on Sunday, PHILLY is the one who is going to get blown out.

Why are these people who get paid for this, either so dumb or are allowed to showcase their bias so obviously so?

I want as many people to pick the eagles as possible so this is good news to me.

Why is it so outlandish that someone believes that the best defensive player on the Eagles might win MVP?

News Flash: the Eagles CAN win this game and it’s not automatically disrespectful when someone picks them.
