Wow...beginner's luck, I guess. Actually I'd participated sporadically in the past, so I'm familiar with the game. Just kinda had hunches I guess. I don't nearly have the X & O knowledge some of the rest of you do (never played the game myself), but I figured the Pats would pull out close ones in low scoring games for the first two while the offense tried to figure itself out and that they (offense) would step up and start to click in game 3 to lower the decibel level a bit. Called it indeed. I was pretty good in my office pickem pool, usually up and down but won a few weeks here and there over the years.
This week's game seems a lot tougher to call, (haven't put it in yet) so don't worry, I'm sure I'll fall back in the pack sometime. They're slight underdogs in this game, but those kinds of games the Pats usually do well in. However, the Falcons are tough at home and I can't really fathom them going 1-3... interesting indeed...
How come I don't have this luck when it comes to other things? Oh, well. Looks like I should go buy a Megabucks ticket!
