Hey folks, I screwed up (just call me Cimini). I merged the two Predict the Score threads without seeing that the one that Alamo started is actually different in character than the DWC one.

I'm sending a PM to the other Mods to see if there is a way to unmerge threads.

My apologies.

I was just going to post to suggest that even though I never partake for personal karma sake. Perhaps in future Alamo's thread could be stickied once he starts it while those started by trolls could be moved to the Visitors Locker Room?

R.Seymour=Out, J.Green=In

R.Harrison=Out, Sanders=In

First EVER regualar season game as NE Patriots for R.Moss, D.Stallworth and W.Welker. How will the timing, trust factor, and Chemesty be between Tom Brady and his recievers? We will find out Sunday.

Just a few points:

Green would be the best DL on the Jets if he played for them. Wright could possibly be a starter as well. Seymour's absence hurts the team, but it isn't the death knell that people seem to want it to be.

I do worry about the safeties because the Jets have a fine pair of WRs and I think Baker is a good TE as well.

That said, when NE boast better starters at 10 of 11 defensive positions (I give Rhodes the sole victory) and 8 of 11 offensive positions (I give a push at TE and NY the lead for both WR spots) I can't bring myself to worry all that much about this game. Said another way, of all the people that NY trots out onto the field on Sunday, only 4 of 22 starters would even have a debatable shot at starting for NE.

I would take the Jets' punter and I think that NY probably has the edge in PK as well. So the ST is definitely an area of concern.

NE's typical significant edge in coaching is mitigated, so the Jets have that going for them. But I just can't see them overcoming the rather large talent edge that NE has on them. NE 24 NY 13.
