I could see this happening:

1st and 10- Its a play action option pass that is looking for Thomas 40 yards downfield to shock the Patriots early. It takes way too long to develop, sacked by Big Vince, loss of 6.

2nd and 16-Broncos shock us with another pass play, incomplete.

3rd and 16- The draw everyone sees coming, loss of two yards, the stadium is rocking at this point.

4th and 18- Punt.

Actually.....touchdowns by special teams and defense are still offensive plays.

They're just not made by your actual offense.

If I'm the Broncos I go play action deep on the first play. Set the tone and back off the safeties from the start. The next plays are predicated on the success of that play.

I am. There are a few of us in Bronco Land who think that Tebow would be even *more* dominant if he weren't being shackled by the coaches.

Call me "Old School", but running the damn ball 94.6% of the time on 1st down (not kidding, we had 23 runs on 24 first downs last week in regulation) is not exactly creative.

And it does NOTHING to help Tebow grow as a passer.
