Pre Super Bowl Thread- On to the Rams

I saw a video on Twitter of the team filing into the locker room. Michel seemed fine to my totally untrained eye.

Edit: found the video. Pretty cool actually. Sony comes in around 1:20.

Good find. He looks fine to me. BB likes those fresh legs late in a game. Sony was getting stuffed pretty consistently in the 3rd quarter. I think it was just the fresh legs theory

Hopefully I or someone during the week can dig up the Rams offensive metrics & Goff’s stats without Kupp. They seem to have gone down a decent amount.

I noticed Cooks hasn’t had the same production without him either.

Let’s hope we are.....if we commit some of Brainfarts from today?! May not be worthy of another SB trophy!
Of course I meant the fans, not the players. Our cup runneth over again and again.

Still buzzing --- Game finished around 3'30am Irish time, was up at 6.30am for work... Not one bit of work will be done today. I've the game highlights on repeat....That catch from Hogan in the 4th was outrageous .
Me too...no slept at all more or less but...who cares ??? Grandi Patriots...

According to Brady, the Patriots put in eight new plays during Sunday morning’s walkthrough at the hotel. They ran four or five of them during the game.

With 94 offensive plays, they needed them.

Same game plan as the Chargers

Pats 94 plays and KC 47 plays
Pats time of possession 22 minutes more than KC.
The first drive burned 8 minutes off the clock.
Reid screwed up giving NE the ball to start the game.

Saints might have shown us the blueprint. The Ram defense had no answer for Kamara on the wheel route.

Lots of James White please.

winning the SB this season after all doubts would be sooooooooo sweeeet. I hate facing teams with ex patriots on their roster, cooks and talib will be on fire, and that old fox wade will be cooking something on defense we need to dominate

I was not the impressed with Goff out there yesterday. He lost track of the clock and acted surprised when the 1st ended while the Rams we're at the line of scrimmage.
I’m not worried about Goff in the Super Bowl. Jackson will revert back to covering either Woods or Cooks since the Rams don’t have a TE worth his attention. I’m worried about those two backs and Gurley having two weeks to get better.

Your avatar is absolutely phenomenal by the way.

Has the twitter "doctor" who's wrong most of the time weigh in with analysis?

Why would you dislike his post @slash83?

They can structure the QB contract easily in a way where Kelce will be way past his prime when the big numbers hit the cap. Don't forget TK is already 29. They won't have to pay Mahomes until Kelce is 31.

You do the math.

They have to pay Hill. They’re trying to negotiate a contract extension.

So who does Jackie Slater root for? The team that he played for and is still employed by, or his son's team?

It's the same predicament that Steve DeOssie found himself in when his son was playing for the Giants. Steve took a lot of heat for publicly rooting for his son, but I would do the same thing if my son was a player.

Hmm. reading the media, alot of people are picking the Rams....BUT, this is the same team that really should've lost against the saints save for a bad call.

Have to think if Bill could stymie the Chiefs offense for the first half with all those weapons, he can come up with something to stymie the rams. How is Goff against the blitz?

Just checking ESPN stats, Rams gave up 5.1yards per carry this year on the ground which bodes well IMO for the pats running game and utilizing the same "keep away" offensive approach they used against the chargers/KC

Thanks Brother.

Hope you can make it Georgia.
