If we are changing our offense to dunk and dunk, we have already lost.We are going to live or die by Maye getting rid of the ball fast or hanging onto it too long. I fully guarantee you that Vrabel had them practicing quick plays all week. Dink and dunk until they have to respect it, then take shots.
Moses got to the red zone but could never punch it in for a TD.He is in the HOF, but Moses plays RT.
Ever since he made the Pats starting line up events have occurred that have been favorable for the Pats. Lately - Bills are gone, Nix is gone, Snow is bad for Texas, Collins out, Gonzo in. Its been like this all season.
Trust in Moses.

In a way I am glad that Maye had some issues against the Chargers defense. He has proven to quickly learn from his mistakes so I am pretty confident that he will not make the same mistakes this game.We are going to live or die by Maye getting rid of the ball fast or hanging onto it too long. I am 100% OK with an interception if it's 25 yards downfield and sets Houston up between their own 35-45.There’s a good chance we’re turning the ball over at least once and that’s not a knock on Patriots. I think we can win even with two turnovers but we can’t be turning it over three+ times. Focus on making Stroud turn the ball over too.
Dont want to jinx anything, but Gumby family ate our celebratory* steaks 6 hours ago.I see your Guiness; ….
And raise you an Andechs DoubleBock
(On „ice“ w a few friends in reserve / on the bench).
The poor Bills are just like the desert ascetics. We admire them for their fortitude but we wouldn't want to be them.Moses is more like Allen - it was ordained he wouldn't reach the Promised Land
Depressing, but expected.Drizzling now, no snow
I think Denver losing Nix raises the stakes. There is definitely no guarantee the Patriots win the SB if they beat Houston. Rams & Seahawks are wagons. But....it would be nice to find out.I have no idea how this will turn out. But this season has been an incredible success and a joy to watch with my son (the Pats mega-fan who turned 16 the day after our first playoff win in 7 years).
Either Maye plays a great game and we win to advance. (While setting up a new balance of power in the AFC)
Or Maye & Offense struggle against the best D in the league and we lose.
(Which gives us great momentum to improve the roster for a legit shot at contending next year)
I think one thing Maye is wrestling with is the throwaway when a defender is right on top of him. It seems like some of his fumbles have happened when he realizes he is going to get sacked so he is trying to throw the ball away to save the sack and he is too slow and ends up having the ball knocked out of his hand. At that point, a sack would've been much better. He needs to adjust his timing to realize how much time is enough time to still be able to get that thing out of there vs. just going down and living for another down or a punt.I am 100% OK with an interception if it's 25 yards downfield and sets Houston up between their own 35-45.
That's acceptable.

Agree -- no fumbles or INTs near the LOS. Nothing that gives them prime field position or a big return.I think one thing Maye is wrestling with is the throwaway when a defender is right on top of him. When in doubt I'd rather he turtle a bit against this Texans D and punt it back to their trash can offense vs. giving up a fumble to them in field goal range. Their kicker is pretty good.
Honestly, I feel like that was a thing before the Bills and Broncs playedBoth NE and Houston will have extra motivation today as the winner is going to win the AFC. This game is going to be intense.
Actually it was god that kept Moses out of the promised land. God’s defense is almost as good as the Texans’ D according to the media.Moses got lost in the desert.
Today, he has GPS to lead the Pats to the promise land..
