3 TDs but also 2 INTs and 4 sacks. Two of the TDs came when the game was out of hand. They whooped our ass last season but we're a lot better now.
Zach Thomas started at Tackle along with D Jacobs. Thomas is out of the league this year and Jacobs played backup the last 4 games for terrible Arizona

But there is typically a 5-step protocol:

  • Return-to-Participation (RTP) Protocol: A five-phase graduated process post-diagnosis:
    1. Symptom-limited activity/rest.
    2. Aerobic exercise and balance training.
    3. Football-specific exercises and strength training (non-contact).
    4. Full-contact practice.
    5. Full clearance for game participation.
  • Each phase requires no symptom recurrence, with neurocognitive testing often involved. Clearance comes from the club physician and must be confirmed by an Independent Neurological Consultant (INC).
About 25% of players don't miss a game. But with a short week (and the travel schedule here) that percentage surely drops considerably.
I asked Google Gemini (I know, I know, AI) and it advised that while roughly 22% of players don't miss a game, players who suffer the concussion on a Monday night game miss time far more often - only 10-15% of players play the following week. It also advised that the median recovery time for a concussion is 9 days.

Yeah it depends on the opponent. Darnold and Stafford would fold. Purdy might be able to handle it. Caleb, I'm not sure. He loves to run around so it's possible.

I agree with you about AFC v NFC btw. The NFC "was" tougher but the teams that were considered tougher at one point in time are almost all gone. The only scary team left is Seattle. The rest of the NFC teams are all fairly flawed, and even Seattle runs the risk of Darnold turning back into a pumpkin.
We forget Stafford played them, though game 1 of the year not sure how meaningful. 21 of 29 for 245 yards 1 TD no picks and a 109.1 rating and 3 sacks and 1 fumble (recovered by Rams). Looks like he was OK.
They only scored 14 but Texans only 9. LA fumbled at Texans 12 also.
Puka Nacua was unstoppable. Expect/Hope Diggs to have a big game vs former team.

Our base Offense should include 6 OL's.

Curiously, I think that we have better opportunity for passing yards out of that set.
No

Even if the Texans get by with just defense this week, do you think they can actually win the SB without doing much offensively? Something tells me it's not sustainable.
Pitt is Pitt, so make of it what you will, but the Texans marched the ball up and down the field all game, they had over 400 yards of Offfense. Stroud made 3 egregious plays, but outside of that he threw the ball well.
Is Houston's O the 2007 Pats, not, but they are better than what we are giving them credit for, or at least were last night.

Really? The only time he completed a pass was when one of their dogshit secondary players blew a coverage (it happened a lot).

If we negate their rush, I predict their DBs won’t look like the league’s best

Like I said, make of it what you will considering the competition.
But I saw an O moving the ball all game through the air and on the ground.
The were middle of the pack O this year overall yards, scoring and passing. They were a poor rushing team, but ran it very well last night.
I don't think we win this game 13-10 like some are suggesting, we will have to score more than that.

GET IN THE HOLE!!!!!!!

My bad. that's golf.

As I read it, there isn’t any way to say who can or can’t be cleared in time

players who suffer the concussion on a Monday night game miss time far more often - only 10-15% of players play the following week.
And 2 sets of travel for the Texans compress the timeline even more in this case.

For us, we'd need to see Gonzalez out there in a non-contact jersey on Thursday.

I don’t know about that. With 4 minutes left in the game they had 10 offensive points.

We can't be Dropping any Footballs in key situations either. We have to try to wear that Defense Down.

Agree completely. And they should try really hard not to let up too many touchdowns.

Agreed, because Stroud made 3 terrible mistakes, but they moved the ball very effectively all game.

It's not. That's why both Houston and Denver are pretenders. Patriots, Seahawks and Rams
are all top10 offenses and top 10 defenses.
That's why they're the 3 most legit left

I got your point, it’s valid; but you need flag-thrower level data to say anything about that.

So, show me where to get it or get yourself. And stop beating the horse ( for post count? ) , she ain’t moving no more. . … she dead

Did you? Look at your own link, man..

"Complete Penalty log".

Referees have specific penalties that they account for. Just like different officials account for the different players on the O-line for False Start Penalties.
