I would too, but in this case, his were wrong.

Go back to La Canfora's original article - he changed it.

Except that he kept the title the same. When I checked that article at 8 in the morning, it said the same thing, which I will point out confused me. It's not a big deal, shows some possible interest (whether genuine or not) from the Patriots standpoint. A lot of these reports are all over the place this time of the year anyways.

Just in case anyone is still confused, Chris Price updates the reporting and notes NE worked out all three DE/OLBs Brooks Reed, D'Aundre Reed, and Ricky Elmore - and may have done it in a joint workout with the Ravens.

Didn't BB workout Mccourty, Hernandez, Cunningham, and Spikes last year? I also remember us being very interested in Gronk all along. Price was a surprise pick but other than that everyone else that was picked high we expressed interest in during the pre-draft process.

I was going off BritPat's link to last year's list and I didn't see those noted there.

Adrian Nicholson ring a bell with anyone? Whomever this is they hit Seattle, Chicago (Soldier Field), and Gillette recently.

V - Official Pre-Draft visit; visited team facilities/hosted by team in area
PW - Private workout held with prospect
AW - Attended open workout on Campus
C - Position Coach or Coordinator contact
MC - Team has spoken to player or agent or had on-Campus visit; miscellaneous contact
APD - Team official has attended Pro-Day
I - Interviewed at Combine/All-Star game
RI - Rumoured interest

NB: All players in larger font, and Bold, Italic and Underline, have met the "Three Contact Rule". To meet the TCR, a prospect must have three confirmed contacts (RI does not count). The TCR implies that the Patriots are very very interested in them, and there's a very good chance we'll draft them. Don't take it for granted though.

One name not listed is NotoriousDro - and I'm on the case.

He seems to have a Hornets cap on - maybe from UNC?

I'll guess an award-winning CB (yet perhaps undrafted). Hope this helps. :D

I haven't seen any confirmed visits for Robert Quinn for any team, but I noted this from Yahoo] quoting Quinn:

Do you have a list of teams you’ll go out and visit or you’ve already visited yet?

Well, I talked with the 49ers yesterday (Wednesday). I’ve got 12 to 14 teams. I’ve got to go about three weeks straight flying in and out of town. So from being the No. 2 team to the No. 28 team (in the first round) or whatever—-all different teams—-so I have a busy three weeks coming up ahead of me.

Maybe something, maybe nothing but worth noting as there's been nothing I've seen connecting Quinn to the Patriots.

Good catch.

Didn't we work out Dez Bryant and everyone became smitten from the kind words BB said of him?

I'd lean towards the idea he likes Quinn if he has zero connection to him.
