.when was the last time a guy like Taylor sliced Denver's D... At home?

When was the last time the denver defense allowed only 16 total points in two consecutive games?

F**k there are some real big whiney people on this board, go hop on the denver bandwagon if they are so great.

Nobody's whining but more worse are the homers on this board. Denver has a great defense. Give credit where it's due. Our defense's good but not great.

You're one of the biggest homers on this board.
And you continue to show how stupid you are. I am extremely objective. Find some of my homer posts and get back to me. I am a homer because I am not a whiny **** like you?

Our D is giving up less points. Learn to read. Might be a good start. And as bad as the homers are here the doom and gloom posters are 100x worse.

No because i don't have the pom poms like a pats cheerleader. It's nice to look outside the box.

Where did i say the season's over. Are you blind? Don't give me stats. Stats are for geeks. Give me the eye test.

I don't care if our team is giving up less points, right now the Denver Broncos are the team to beat, hands down. But our guys better learn to cover and tackle better....I think soon the offense will be much better but I dont like what I have seen out of the defense today or two weeks ago.

I still think this whole thing in the AFC comes down to Pats, Broncos, Steelers (lets see how tonight goes) and Ravens....maybe Oakland.

The eye test LOL

Denver's D virtually won them a championship last season so I think its definitely elite. I don't think our defense could do the same. Plus they are really clutch when it matters most and always cause turnovers. I won't be banking on our defense winning us any games if the situation arises where the offense is in dire times. This team HAS to learn how to win ugly.

**** the talk about are we elite has already begun. It must be week 4.

BB wanted tyrod to throw the ball and beat them and he got it . He wanted taylor to consistently keep throwing expecting a mistake which never came.

I would say he got somewhat of what he wanted from the Defense albeit without the missed tackles but I think he was hoping for more than 0 points out of his offense.

It is what it is and Jacoby got another games worth of experience under his belt.

Actually Points Allowed is not some empty statistic. Chandler Jones getting a sack in the 3rd quarter and not doing anything else in the game is. Sack numbers don't tell the whole story.

Points Allowed does tell most of the story.

Well, some of the story. You know the good old Levenstein's: “Statistics are like bikinis. What they reveal is suggestive, but what they conceal is vital.”

The other problem with statistic is that it's always used selectively. Its human nature.

I go by impression myself. And Denver D impresses me a lot. They give so much confidence to the team. Like they are invincible. That's impression. And a big psychological boost to the whole team.

BTW - I think Pats D will look instantly better with TB. We can have a truer evaluation in 4 games time. At the moment to me the #1 Q is 3rd CB spot. Furthermore High and McC are clearly not 100%. We'll see what Ninko brings, but he'll need some time as well. What I would like to see are some of those preseason looks. And Id really like to see Mingo getting some snaps in certain pass rush situations.

Lots of over reaction by some Patriot fans ...
we let up 16 points with an offense that was very challenged ... no big deal.

Guess what happens when you write down what your eyes see? You get stats. hahahha

Just kidding.

Out-played, out-executed, and out-coached. Seems strange to say that given the Pats just played a Rex Ryan coached team. Team got what it deserved with the L as they simply weren't good but hey, bigger picture. Tom Brady is back. I repeat. Tom frickin' Brady is back. For that reason alone, I don't particularly care for the result.

Yeah seriously, I don't see the big deal. Going 3-1 with a third string quarterback playing 10+ quarters is a big accomplishment.

Patriots know how to rebound from bad losses. They will get better and work on their mistakes.

Go Pats!!!!
