Any thoughts on malcolm brown's play? Am i the only one who expected more from him.

He was hustling. One play in particular was when Tyrod tried to bootleg to the right and Malcolm hauled ass toward the sideline shutting the door on him.

R. E. Denver's D, I think folks r forgetting how anemic the Pats offense looked in the afc title gm last year....they looked awful and saved face w a few miracles thanks to #87, who at this point lead looks like he isn't close to 100%....

How about your tackles blowing up the line and not leaving it up to the linebackers. This d-line especially the tackles where awful today!
OK, you asked. The entire defensive line ( not just Brown) and linebacking crew who put absolutely minimal pressure on Taylor were horrid. I thought Jamie Collins sucked big-time, and he wasn't alone. It appeared to me that at times the pass rushers just quit. With that all said, I fully expect this team to be playing in the SB in February. Bad day by everyone. It happens.

We will know more about this defense when they face the steelers on tbe road. I think the steelers are overrated but it's in their place.

And Tyrod Taylor just shredded the Pats D, which was supposed to be a great D...when was the last time a guy like Taylor sliced Denver's D... At home?

You have to keep in mind as well that they have trouble with the snap count. I have never seen such horrific offensive line play. Reminded me of 2007

No way Brissett was winning this game. It was Jimmy or a loss.

Out-played, out-executed, and out-coached. Seems strange to say that given the Pats just played a Rex Ryan coached team. Team got what it deserved with the L as they simply weren't good but hey, bigger picture. Tom Brady is back. I repeat. Tom frickin' Brady is back. For that reason alone, I don't particularly care for the result.

Yes, you just perfectly described the "mush rush" that the Pats frequently use against mobile quarterbacks. They appeared to abandon that strategy late in the game, and the result was missed sacks and extended plays.

16 points is shredding? And that is without the Pats O being able to offset with drives.

What did you call this?

New England Patriots at Kansas City Chiefs

Attendance: 76,613
1 2 3 4 Total
New England Patriots (2-2) 0 0 7 7 14

I don't know why anyone would think a defense starting Logan "can't cover" Ryan is supposed to be great.

Just a stat

Actually Points Allowed is not some empty statistic. Chandler Jones getting a sack in the 3rd quarter and not doing anything else in the game is. Sack numbers don't tell the whole story.

Points Allowed does tell most of the story.

We could have been 0 vs 4, 1 vs 3, 2 vs 2 buy instead we are at the top of our division with a 3 vs 1.
I am good where we are at.

Brady is back and we are on to Cleveland.

if pats had scored at least that first TD , the game wouldve changed. Taylor wouldve been under pressure to make plays and defense wouldve forced mistakes. just never happened.

You would still take the denver defense over ours. Our defense still has issues getting pressure and our guys don't play more man coverage then denver does.

Most posters including myself were hoping for 2-2, were 3-1 and I'm happy as much as today's loss sucked.

F**k there are some real big whiney ****ies on this board, go like denver if they are so great.
Agreed. Patspimp is the worst of the worst. Just whines about everything along with the other board ****ies.
