Awful, horrible, an absolute joke from Belichick all the way down to the last roster spot. If you're going to just walk into a teams home and expect them to surrender because you're the Big Bad Patriots, you've got a rude awakening happening over and over again.

We still have @NY, @Mia, @Pitt, and vs Minn. A 9-7 finish is very possible.

lol

Please come off the ledge. We just won 6 in a row. Stinkers happen.

An embarrassing performance by the entire team. Only 10 points? Dak looked better on Monday night. Lol

Can anyone name one Patriot that had a good game?

You seriously think it's very possible they are going 1-5?

a shytburger game. this will give the felching gasbags on the radio plenty of hysterical takes the next two weeks

Semi serious question: which is worse, toxic Pats coverage or none at all? (I don't live in Boston media territory.)

Brady realistically has not looked like Brady since the Chiefs game. There were a lot of balls today impacted by pressure but there were also a lot of weak and/or questionable throws where he didn’t set his feet even with zero pressure. He’s 41 so having the cliff questions is fair.

Yeah, I'm not sure whether it's arm strength, mechanics, mental trepidation, or some combination of the above, but he's definitely off. His flinching at pressure even when more imaginary than real and failing to step into throws (or actively falling back out of them) regardless of real or imagined pressure is definitely new and I wonder if it's the sort of unconscious protection your mind demands over your body that comes with age.

McCourty the safety at 13 million, Hightower at 6+ million, Brown, and Shelton. Forum posters will go crazy but Allen also has to go. Without Gronk he doesn't even offer a threat in the passing game to defend. I don't care how well he blocks.

None of this has anything to do with this season and would be approached the same way if we dont make the playoffs or manage to win a title.

So whats your point again?

Regardless of the outcome of this season, it's a bit concerning to ponder the next 3-5 years, which is presumably Brady's window.

His level of play combined with the roster as currently constituted is a bit worrisome.

We shall see what the future holds.

You think Brady has a 3-5 year window? His window is this year and maybe next year.

Unfortunately, the team needs retooling at most positions so it’s likely the closing of his window will be with a whimper

I think that for several years now age has been shaving down Brady’s margin for error. However, that was hidden because he had a big margin for error to start with. We’ve now gotten to the point where the remaining margin is small enough that we finally start to see time’s effects.

For example, consider that throwaway to White (if it really was a throwaway). A year or two ago Brady tries to zip it in there — there was definitely enough room for Classic Brady to get it there. But today he bails and throws it away. Is he worried that he doesn’t have enough strength to make that throw a safe throw?

This in no way means Brady can’t be a great player, mind you. Just that the degree of difficulty has gotten higher.

Is this the thread where I blame the defense for our offense only scoring 10?

Sammy, I just thought about that for about a minute and the only name that came to mind was Develin...now when he comes up first, you know you are having a bad day

lewis is special
sony is a jag
And you're a reactionary idiot...Jesus H. Christ does anyone around this f###### place ever learn how stupid it is to make absolute statements like this? You sound like Tony Mazz, which should make you want to crawl into a worm hole and beg for mommy to bring you some soup...dope...

Guess I’m not reading that much into a bad game. He’s not turning the ball over, he’s not squeezing in balls to White so he can take a hit for 1 yard, and the offensive line barely let him breathe.

He had a bad game. (Along with the entire team)

I was off the week leading up to the Texans playoff game two years ago and was getting some painting done around the house. I would alternate from WEEI and 98.5 and I couldn't get over the negativity. It's easy to see why most of the fan base acts the way it does.

His point is he needs something to b*tch about.
