Gilmore far from the only one, Butler, Chung, Rowe, McCourty were all absolutely brutal. E. Roberts isn't a NFL LB, and they have 1.5 rusher

Front 7 is so terrible its exposing our secondary that isn't on the same page yet. More losses to come until this crap is fixed. Our LB and DL is filled with JAGS and inexperience.

Admit I didn't get the game down here, but:

1) I'm not jumping off a cliff. Still plenty of season to play and the greatest Defensive mind in the history of the league as HC and the greatest ever to play QB leading the Offense.

2) That said, I'm just plain not interested in hearing any complaints about the officiating. You can't score 30 points at home and lose the game. Period. End of sentence. No excuses.

This team made it harder on themselves in the grand scheme of things. Never thought they would sh*t the bed against the panthers.

This offense is really good. They came into the game leading the league in total yardage and put up 377 yards on a defense that came in giving up about 260 per game. They're also still getting into a rhythm at some spots. So, that's a really good sign.

Unfortunately, the defense is terrible. I really don't think it's a stretch to say they're playing worse than any other team. If you think they have the potential to be better, fine, but they've been arguably the worst so far. The scariest thing is that the front seven is designed from a personnel and scheme standpoint to stop the run and they're among the worst in the league in rush defense.

I'm confident Patricia and Belichick can get them to play better, but they have their work cut out for them.

The defense was not this bad, not even close. They have never played this poorly defensively in the Belichick era.

Well we might have to look back at 2011 or early 2012. But yeah three of these games have been some of the worse defensive performances under Belichick.

The defense was **** again today and some of the offensive play calling wasn't great. You can't discount the fact that Carolina only got flagged once the entire game. Once the game got close the Booger got his officials to throw phantom flags to bail out Carolina. That ****head is as bad as Clete Blakeman and Bill Leavy (who helped Pittsburgh capture their 5th title and tried to bail out A-Fraud against the Gints in 2011)

I think he figured out the issue and how to solve it tbh. Take Gilmore off the field, seriously. Anything is better than playing with basically 10 defenders

The d line's not getting enough blame either because the secondary has been god awful. They gave up over 130 yards rushing again.

The defense gave up 444 yards and 33 points. That is simply unacceptable. I think the talent is there but simple things like setting the edge, taking a good angle, form tackling and so on, just seem to elude this team.

Lol. I own a 7 figure business chief. Why? Because I can recognize when something isn't working (even if it was my mistake) and make changes. I hired an employee whom I thought would be a rockstar...he was awful. That was my mistake...I fired him, we fixed it and moved on. I believe findementally that Gilmore is just not bright enough to understand his assignments, or to know that you CAN'T make stupid penalties in a must have situation. I believe the defense is better without him than with him. It's not that's I'm "quitting" on the team, it's that I want the best defense we can field and I don't believe Gilmore is part of that group right now.

Isn't this the normal NFL? The Patriots are not going to dominate. There will be close games, games in which their D is going to get beaten a lot. But when it's 30-30, you don't want the refs making phantom calls. To say the D put them in that position.I don't expect the Patriots to dominate every week.

End of the game actually left me a little optimistic. Offense can still improve but when it comes down to it, the Brady Bunch will execute. Take away the penalties and the defense showed up big in the last two possessions. We're 2-2 and still in the afce. Bills will lose 2 or 3 of the next 3. Keep getting better and "There's always this year"

This is going to be one scrappy season. The one thing I got from the game is that they're not quitting. So anything that's fixable will be fixed. Communication issue etc....

Can't say much else because I fell asleep in the chair before the game and woke up at the end of the 3rd quarter.

He signed Kony Ealy. But he didn't work out. Had he been a good fit, you wouldn't be saying that.
