Apologies if this has already been posted. This interview shows off Belichick like nothing I've ever seen before. First, the humaneness of the man, and then the demonstration of the awareness of the details of the game as it's unfolds. Belichick at his best.

Yea this was great.

My understanding is BB and Chris Berman are buds.

A big reason why BB was so revealing and candid was because of Chris Berman and his level of comfort with him.

ESPN deserves to be bashed until the ends of time but they lose the "BB Whisperer" in Berman.

Love me some BB. Almost an insult to say that he is gold. Worth more than gold. There are 31 billionaires that would fire their entire staff if BB offered to run their team. Love that guy.

That was great. Thanks for posting that as I would've likely missed it due to it being on ESPN.

To hear coach break down several aspects of the game in a matter of 5 minutes was just amazing. It was like the Belistrator on steroids.

Good find.

Awesome by all those guys. Shout out to Randy too, he's great.

Edit: just finished the whole thing. They were all shocked by the end at what BB just gave them lol

Simply freaking amazing. He is there 10 minutes after its over, he had a freakin sideline view - not All-22 for much of it (ok tablets and stills sure), and He is rattling off specific plays from all 5 quarters with who did what and how they defensed it on that particular play. BB = Freakin Football Rainman!

Yeah, you could hear how grateful Boomer was and how Bill did it because he knew it was one of his last chances to do something nice. This is the BB that players and other coaches are always talking about.

What an amazing interview. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Most every Boston beat reporter must see that and seethe with anger. This is what he could be giving them every day.

Too bad they prove themselves totally unworthy of the honor daily.

Mike Reiss excepted.

It has been said before, but proven once again here. If you ask BB an intelligent football question, he will be happy to respond with a detailed answer.

Rarely or never seen Belichick so candid and forthcoming. Really a sign of respect for Berman, which is great. Plus, there's nothing to hide because there's no opponent next week watching the film.

Even before and after BB came on both young and randy had great anaylsis with X/O

I agree completely but Berman, Moss and Young didn't really ask insightful football questions. Their questions were softballs.

I just think with his good buddy Berman there and with HoFers Moss and Young, BB felt he was in respectable company to speak at a comfortable, conversational level.

He was his true self in that interview. Incredible.

Once Berman leaves the ESPN pregame show is dead to me, he was the only one worth listening and watching, I will also miss his highlight videos...

Also I agree how open BB was in that interview, one of the rare moments when he opened up and explained his thought process. I have that interview on the DVR because I knew Berman would pull off a good interview with BB.
