In my mind, he is a weapon that bb will use in various ways from day 1.

I don't think that many fans appreciate the risk/reward calculation here. Michel could turn out to be the best lead back the Pats have had in a long time - what most seem almost certain will happen. However, there's also a chance that Michel turns out to be merely a more expensive version of Ridley - a possibility that most fans seem willfully blind to.
