2026 Draft: Linebacker

I'll have to check and see if Brugler makes mention of this... Would be good to know,.
He does, although I don't know if he always listed it. I did a search for "Green dot" in the print version of The Beast.

LBs he mentions wearing the dot:
Sonny Styles
Anthony Hill Jr.
Josiah Trotter
Keyshaun Elliott
Bryce Boettcher
Aiden Fisher
Wade Woodaz
Deontae Lawson

Also two safeties:
Kamari Ramsey
Miles Scott

A search on this for Texas Tech found that they switches from having Rodriguez have the green dot in 2024 to Brendan Jordan, a safety. This was because the new Defensive Coordinator, Shiel Wood, delegated Communications to the Safeties Coach, Rob Greene.

CJ Allen. Had green dot and apparently called a lot of the defense himself. At 21.

Jacob Rodrigeuz also did for Texas Tech (DaBruinz was faster and with a better answer).

That's what she said.
Oh well. I have another saying if you smelt you delt it. Anyway Rolder has had 5 top 30 visits. That's pretty remarkable for a guy considered to be a borderline UDFA.

borderline UDFA? More like borderline day 2/3. Probably 4th round.

So based off different rankings, he’s anywhere from a fringe 3rd to an UDFA. Which is most reasonable….,no one really knows, it’s all guesses.
The fact that he’s had top 30 visits would indicate he’s not an UDFA and would be more indicative than so called “experts” rankings.
There could be teams he’s meet with that have higher rated players on their board available when their picks come about rds 3, 4…..
Maybe a team falls in love with him and he goes in rd 2.
Nothing would surprise me.
We’ll know soon!

Jimmy Rolder.

First clip, takes on the LT and RB blocks and gets the sack.

I think i want him about as much as anyone else. He's the perfect long-term replacement for Spillane.

Might be. We need a sideline+to-sideline guy to cover TEs and RBs. That might be a LB, Stukes, or another safety, and a Spillane replacement can wait until Day 3. There will be a dozen Spillane replacements next year.

Take Owen Heinecke from your mocks and predictions.

Who was the player who has lost an entire year of eligibility waiting on a f'in judge to make a ruling???
