Regardless of how talented the team is that plays at a particular stadium, toughest stadiums takes into account the crowd noise, elements and location that add to the opposing teams challenge in winning a game in that particular stadium.

Which one do you think is the toughest?

Excluding the high altitude, Weather in Denver is unpredictable and it gets very cold and snowy during the winter months. Their crowd is very loud and rowdy which adds to its toughness. My vote goes to Denver, its just hell to play there. Many people say its Seattle but I think Denver is much tougher when you consider the higher elevation and harsher weather conditions.

Its our house of horrors for a reason, even before the Brady and Belichick era.

I think it's hard to argue against the altitude in denver, they also have the winter weather advantage late in the year. I don't think it's much of a discussion tbh.

Why would Miami even be on the list?

When we play there, 30% of the crowd is Patriots fans, sometimes more. Trust me, I've been among them

Our all time record in Miami is not great to say the least. The weather elements can also be quite challenging when you consider the intense humidity and heat in Miami.

Miami, it's game over once the Jimmy Buffet songs come on.

Still it seems likes we've had our share of losses there though, namely the fact that we haven't won there since 2012.

Miami can be a tough place to play in the early part of the season due to the heat. Players cramp up and have hydration problems all the time there. Luckily they consistently fail to put a good team together to capitalize on this advantage.

In order, toughest stadiums for the Patriots to play in:

1. Mile ******* High
2. Sunlife
3. Arrowhead
4. Heinz
5. Lambeau

Nothing really comes close to Mile High though.

Gillette is only tough for a select few teams to play in, namely Denver, New York Jets, Buffalo, Miami, Indianapolis, Cincy.

Giants, Ravens, Steelers and a lot of the better NFC teams do give us a run for our money in Gillette.

Wouldn't want to play anywhere else though. Best stadium ever.

I would say the only team that isn't afraid of us at Gillette is Baltimore.

This question totally depends on the time of year. Sept it's clearly the heat and humidity of sunlife. Jan in green bay is historically a nightmare. The altitude in Denver clearly warrants consideration as it is year round and it doesn't get louder than arrowhead. My vote goes to the toughest place to play when it matters, the playoffs so lambeau it is.

Over the last four seasons, Denver has lost at home to Baltimore, Houston, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Oakland and San Diego. The Patriots had two good chances to beat them this year and didn't close it out either time, the first time they fumbled it away and the second time they could have won despite some questionable coaching decisions and an O-Line that had Brady on his butt 23 times in the game. It ain't the stadium.

I'm wondering if a fan who did NOT vote for Denver has ever been to Denver or that area.

I felt the atmospheric effects just walking up the big hill to campus in Boulder. And I was in my best shape back then.
