If the Pats are fortunate to win the Lombardi in February and the defense continues to play "lights out", I can envision the naysayers ( Parker/Kellerman/ etc) saying Brady is cruising on the coattails of the defense, ignoring that in both of Peyton's SB victories it was on the back of his defense and in spite of his lackluster performance ( 3 TD/7 int the first time) and a 75 and 70 QB rating....

The Chiefs run defense is allowing 6.2 yards per carry which would put them as the second worse run defense of all time right behind the 1934 Cincinnati Reds which allowed 6.4 ypc.
Only 3 games in but yeah I wouldn't really say their defense looks improved.

If we offset ppg with Defensive touchdowns scored, including extra points/2 pt conversions......
Current net ppg... -3.67
Therefore
-58.67
But I acknowledge this is an unsustainable rate of excellence
Therefore
Factoring in wind, moisture, injury, tidal charts, astrology, Bill’s mood...
Final answer: -16
