I was convinced he had the heart of a winner and could lead this team in ways Bledsoe never could. Of any player I've never been more sure and more wrong.
I'm going to focus on the players I didn't think would be any good, but things turned out well.
1. Van Noy: I couldn't imagine he would become the player he is now.
2. Ninkovich: same position, it floors me that he did so well. (I was not surprised by Vrabel, because I always thought he could play).
3. Right now, I'm surprised Obi M. made the team.
