This time of year the roster is a revolving door as teams take a look at individual players and build their emergency lists.

We shouldn’t put too much thought in each move, many of these guys will leave as quick as they came, some guys they cut will be signed back later.

We’ll see. Not sure about Durden, he isn’t an amazing athlete. Gregory seems solid, pretty mobile for a big guy.

Ok then. So much for that extension…which I didn’t understand in the first place.

Not sure either but won't be surprised to see him back on the PS.

They can't say no to being put on another team's active roster, but having some guaranteed money from the Patriots shows they have more interested in him than other teams and if it's a choice between the Pats PS and someone else's that's an easy call

I'd think signing a DB off another team's PS may indicate Gonzales won't be back for a few weeks too

Phams is getting his $450k guaranteed. If he's on the Week 1 roster he gets his salary guaranteed too. Now they can bring him back in any of the other weeks and not be on the hook for the full salary.

I doubt Pharms is surprised by this - that's probably why he wanted the guaranteed money, because he knows players like him are shelved for Week 1 specifically to avoid guaranteed salaries - but the Pats were probably upfront about that giving him the guarantee.
