He excels in attacking areas of the field vacated by blitzers, whether as a runner or a receiver, and that may help A LOT vs. the Dolphins.

Glad the news is that he was held out to get healthy. My impression is that whatever his injury was is not a lingering, nagging, limiting, season-long thing....hopefully.

FWIW- While not the same player, it is good to know that James White can come in and keep the lights on.

Good to hear. This a big game for him because a RB receiving out of the backfield is a great way to neutralize an aggressive d-line like the Dolphins have.

In their first 4 games they have been awful against the run. The fact that they can't load up the box and they have to make sure that a Safety/LB is 'spying' Gronk because he's such a mismatch for them means that dump offs to Dion and outside runs should work well.

Nice, Lewis is a matchup nightmare for the Dolphins, they really don't have much to counter him with. He's the kind of guy that really exposes bad LBs, even if your DL is good.

I'm glad to hear this. Having him available is one more positive for New England, and one more thing for the Dolphin's DC to game plan for. The more they defend against, the weaker they become.

This offense when health is going to be scary for opposing defenses. Brady has 5 reliable targets in gronk,edelman,amendola,lafell and lewis...and maybe sprinkle chandler in there at times.

What team is good enough to cover all those guys? If lafell holds onto the ball then they are unstoppable

Agree with everything except the ineffective part.

4 for 21 rushing for 5+ ypc isn't ineffective.

Plus he was 3 for 18 receiving.

Limited, but not ineffective.

White could be active regardless, especially if Bolden cannot go. Lewis still limited so I don't expect him to get a big load.
